About Me

Well let's see here... Let's keep this simpleI am a Industrial Radiographer bet you don't know what that is. But am a true KSU fan. And love the Chiefs, and any Motorsport's. Also enjoy just about anything outdoors. Not a big club type of guy. Would rather stay home with friends and family and tell lies to each other. Lol. Or maybe hit up a local bar. I'm a jeans and boots type of guy. No douchey spiked hair or affliction shirts for me!! If you would like to know more just ask. Go grab a bite to eat. Then go have a few drinks maybe, somewhere we can talk. But I'm always up for suggestion!!!

I'm open minded, like to meet new people and always up for having a good time. Going out for a drink and having a good time with friends is one of my favorite things to do. I am also always game for a good movie. I love to travel and always open to going to new places. I especially enjoy vacationing in Europe and the West Coast. Very open minded and looking to meet all sorts of new people who are like minded. I'm also a HUGE Yankees fan!

So what do you want to know? Don't freakin catfish me. I am who I am, you be who you are. I'm a simplistic guy who loves random moments. I chase after challenges, its exciting. Im a dying breed of extremely old fashioned men. I will open your car door, pull out your chair, offer my coat if you are cold. I want a girl I can treat like the queen you are. Im confident and hold my ground. I have a wickedly fun sense of humor. So now that Ive ranted like everyone else on here, you should message me So an ideal first date is the old fashioned type. A walk across the bridge talking and getting to know each other. Then a strole pass all the bars on the river banks.... we dont need alcohol yet. Then we will walk pass the ball park hand in hand. Then jump the fence and hit the kids zone slide down to the bad ass ball pit. Laughing our way away from security we will end up hiding in the bushes were I hold you really close and kiss you softly.

Until an actual dialogue is started I know I’m not alone in finding online dating rather impersonal and artificial. I personally find the number of people here overwhelming. In the face of potential rejection and an aversion to rejecting others, the whole process seems like needless stress. Not often, but occasionally, I do meet someone where a real connection is made and everything is comfortable, natural, as if two pieces of a puzzle have found each other. Unfortunately the last two people this happened with were already married (this occurred off-site). But my presence here will increase my odds of meeting someone, yes? And despite how daunting this site may seem at times, I can step back and realize that I’m only looking to find one person.I never really know how to fill out these profiles. I feel the questions asked (in the Chemistry questionnaire, etc.) change with circumstances and from one time to another. I’ll try to just be as authentic and candid as possible. If my future soulmate is reading this, then I should write more rather than less. I’ve found that sometimes one piece of information can be off-putting to one person, while another person identifies with it.Regarding ‘types’ I’m typically attracted to, I’m wary of going into things with specific expectations or preconceptions.I’ve been described as a good listener, non-judgmental, logical, affectionate, and intense. My natural self is silly, and I try to say ridiculous things with a straight face. At work preferably.I’m determined to live a fulfilling, well-balanced life, and now that I have a career path I’ve settled on, I’m committing to finding someone to adore. To finding my other puzzle piece.Long career/education answer:I graduated with a BA in political science with a minor in philosophy in ***, right before the recession. I naïvely studied things I was interested in without giving serious thought to what I wanted to pursue for a career. When I graduated I applied to various jobs but without a clear specialization I failed to obtain anything and did jobs ‘just for now’ while focusing on paying off debt. Four years later I finally paid off the debt but was actually further away from beginning a career because I was no longer eligible for internships and I felt like I was tainted with a string of clerical jobs. I felt qualified to do any number of decent jobs by virtue of finishing the degree, and I would apply to many, but the current economic reality requires specialization of some kind or previous experience doing that job. I wanted to pursue something of substance given how inefficient and corrupt many aspects of society are, but one of the biggest lessons I learned from university is that everything you learn from classes is in books one can simply get from the library or find online. ‘Expertise’ does not carry the weight it once had given the widespread availability of knowledge just keystrokes away. Since graduating I’’t paid very well (I’m currently a Database Administrator at the airport).’ve been living at home as a result, because to do otherwise seems financially irresponsible. I’ve recently decided to obtain a Certificate in Conflict Resolution at the Justice *** pursue a position as an Employment Standards Officer. I’m disappointed it has taken this long to decide on a career, but it doesn’t seem that unusual nowadays. So even though I’m just basically starting out, I have a focus now and it’s something I think I’ll enjoy and be good at. Not something I simply fell into but something I can willfully pursue with vigor.
