About Me

I am an easy-going person who really enjoys helping others. I love to coupon. I am kind of the coupon version of the Hamburgler. Some of my time is spent baking/cooking (although I'm new at it). It is important to me to find someone that is respectful of me, funny, trusting/trustworthy, positive, supportive, reliable, and a good person that likes having fun. Being open-minded is a great trait. I am proud of the fact that I am self-sufficient: can change my own tire, can drive a stick-shift & i mow my own lawn in 5th gear on the riding mower (makes it more MarioKart-esk). Even though I'm different than the average female in that I'm low-maintenance and like to get my hands dirty, like most other girls/women, I still appreciate someone who is romantic and knows how to take care of a girl and treat her right. Sometimes I spend my free time creating artwork since I am licensed to teach art and that is what I have my B.A. in. I love my DVR and board games (i.e. Catan & Scrabble). Staying home or going out are both something that I enjoy. I am also interested in sports and feel that my partner should enjoy athletics as well since it is a large part of my life. I coach high school softball and play softball myself (as well as for the college I attended). If you like the Steelers then you should stop reading this. Steelers fans will NOT be tolerated!-made motorized cooler-scooter haha (true story; perhaps you've seen us in the muni-lot). I LOVE scooping ice cream. Also, I can't deny the fact that I love to scare people haha. You know, like hide around the corner of a doorway or behind a parked car. It makes me laugh just thinking about it hahaha. So it would be ideal if my partner could be scared by me and laugh about it right after. Being able to be silly in public and not be easily embarrassed are an added bonus. Having a sense of humor and being funny are important. The more ridiculous, the better!Fish severely creep me out. I'm not sure why people don't use their turn signal.... They should.If you just so happen to lie, cheat, or steal... no thanks. I'm pretty easy to please. I would be fine w/most anything, as long as you're not a Creeper McGee. ha. Maybe dinner and coffee would be nice, or bowling. People watching is always a good time... My only requirement would be that a portion of it is something fun so we can laugh (always a good time). Like I said, easy to please.

    So you wanna know a little about me. I work full-time in the tourism industry.It tends to get really busy in the summer cause of all the cruise ships that come in, which is nice cause it keeps me busy in my job. I have a 4 year old golden retriever and she means everything to me. I live just 5 minutes away from the beach so I tend to go down there quite often with my dog whenever the weather is nice or even just by myself just to relax from the everyday life. I have just recently went traveling to Australia for about a month and I got to say it was amazing. People tell me when you go traveling for the first time, you most likely get the traveling bug and want to do it again.It would be nice to go traveling with someone cause it can be lonely when your just by yourself but on the other hand it can be exciting when your by yourself. I just believe that anything is possible, you just have to get off your butt and make it happen, cause if you don't make a effort you might look back in life and have regrets. In my spare time I like to relax at home and watch a good movie or just read a book. In the summer months, when I have time,I like to go to the lake or even go camping for a night or two. Also since I just live a short walk to downtown, I like to take my dog for walk downtown almost every weekend in the summer cause I find that there is always something fun happening downtown.What I am looking for in a guy is someone who is down to earth, outgoing, and someone who has a good sense of humour. I would like to meet someone who is into playing sports like basketball, tennis and volleyball or who would just like to go for a hike somewhere nice. Sometimes its also nice to be a little spontaneous in life cause if not life can be a little boring at time. Well I think thats enough about me for now. Hope to hear from you soon.
