About Me

I’m a normal member of the human species with some imperfections, but with a strength of ten as well, I kid ye not! I strive to live fearlessly and not to merely see life in black-and-white. I see the many grey areas around us and try to make sense of this wonderfully weird, wacky world of ours. Among my activities are bits of hiking, exploring open spaces (especially the one between my ears), road running, health and fitness, and using my senses (not the one referred to as "common") optimally – like smelling cinnamon, the wetness of the earth and freshly cut grass, tasting a tear, listening to the birds' symphonic sounds at five in the morning (yes, believe it or not.. I am a morning person), feeling the warmness of a loving hug and tasting the sweet in between sour. Interests include biographies, sharing and listening, reading and writing, challenges that *** spark, theatre (including football), art and galleries, recipe books, travel magazines, novels and movies, children, especially my two daughters and the vulnerable - the least, the last and the lost between us. I'm adaptable, honest, transparent, don't hold grudges and enjoy times in the rugged outdoors as much as I do the comforts of my haven. I'm keen on daring sporty challenges, animals, children and great music. And I'm not into fighting, *** do not have *** don't care if you do, but if you spend your entire day consumed in that negativity - we will not et along), sulking, cheating, clothing accounts, credit cards, clubbing, shopping malls or artificial nails. I love moments that offer beauty in art, people, nature, words and actions. Huge trees, fireplaces, the moon, stars, bonfires, thunder storms, butterflies, rural places and their people, long stretched-out roads and cross-word puzzles all fascinate me with their mystique and the many stories they carry. If only they could tell! I believe passion is probably one of the most important dimensions of the human composition – without that we are left without those dreams and aspirations that keep us going.It would be nice if you have a head with eyes and a mouth and ears attached to it. Throw in humor and the ability to change my tire - well not mine; the car's - and you're halfway there already... Honestly, someone normal; respectful, stable, transparent and consistent in thinking and behavior. Someone who has a curiosity about the world and a joyful passion for life, one who shows humor and integrity.

    So you wanna know a little about me. I work full-time in the tourism industry.It tends to get really busy in the summer cause of all the cruise ships that come in, which is nice cause it keeps me busy in my job. I have a 4 year old golden retriever and she means everything to me. I live just 5 minutes away from the beach so I tend to go down there quite often with my dog whenever the weather is nice or even just by myself just to relax from the everyday life. I have just recently went traveling to Australia for about a month and I got to say it was amazing. People tell me when you go traveling for the first time, you most likely get the traveling bug and want to do it again.It would be nice to go traveling with someone cause it can be lonely when your just by yourself but on the other hand it can be exciting when your by yourself. I just believe that anything is possible, you just have to get off your butt and make it happen, cause if you don't make a effort you might look back in life and have regrets. In my spare time I like to relax at home and watch a good movie or just read a book. In the summer months, when I have time,I like to go to the lake or even go camping for a night or two. Also since I just live a short walk to downtown, I like to take my dog for walk downtown almost every weekend in the summer cause I find that there is always something fun happening downtown.What I am looking for in a guy is someone who is down to earth, outgoing, and someone who has a good sense of humour. I would like to meet someone who is into playing sports like basketball, tennis and volleyball or who would just like to go for a hike somewhere nice. Sometimes its also nice to be a little spontaneous in life cause if not life can be a little boring at time. Well I think thats enough about me for now. Hope to hear from you soon.
