About Me

I am 26. I have a 6 year old son, who is my world. If you do not like children or do not feel comfortable with someone who has a kid. Don't waste your time or mine. I like to hang out with my friends, my son, go out to dinner, the movies, and road trips. I love jeans, hoodies, and flip flops. I am a laid back person. I have a good head on my shoulders and want someone who has their stuff together. I don't want to have to play your mother. I want something different and fun.

please read before messaging me!!I'm looking for something real. I know what I want, so don't think that just because we talk you're going to change that. Along with that means be who you are on your profile and have recent pictures. No one cares what you looked like 5 years ago!! I'm not looking for someone who can't pass a background check or a drug test. No alcoholics or cheaters. You need to have a job, a drivers license, and a vehicle. Kids are okay, multiple baby mamas, girlfriends and wives are not. And if you have issues that will effect your ability to be in a relationship please don't waste my time or yours! I have a 3 year old daughter, my own place, my own car, a job I love, and I am truly a happy person. I work out and eat healthy, I want someone I have this in common with. So if you are twice my size or get out of breath just walking, I'm not interested. Be real.I want to be with someone who is serious about possibly having a future. That means putting in time and effort. It means focusing on each other and not talking to a bunch of people. It also means I'm not looking for a hook up. If you're interested sent me a message and we can get to know more about each other. But PLEASE, I mean what I said and I won't change my mind on what I'm looking for! I want to do something where we can actually get a feel for one another by talking. So dinner or coffee would be okay. But a picnic on the beach, sporting event, the zoo, ice skating, going to the park or going to an arcade might be better. You have to let your personality show! And of its my last first date ever it would be nice If it was memorable :)

Soo...I'm an English teacher. A pretty stereotypical one, too: book nerd, grammar nazi, post-it hoarder, red pen connoisseur, owner of a ridiculous number of cardigans. My job is super important to me (and really time-consuming/exhausting) but I'm trying to find the right balance between being a great educator and having an actual life outside the building. Two deal-breakers right out of the gate (sorry for going negative so early in the campaign...) but because of my job I don't have much patience for grown men who act like the teenagers I spend all day around, and I will judge you for bad grammar. I can't help it. (Sorry?) However, I promise I'm not anti-fun - part of my job is entertaining kids all day and I have a sarcastic, dorky, silly sense of humor. I have a pretty deep well of Animal Farm and Lord of the Flies jokes, and I love a bad pun. Anywho. Family is very important to me. We're freakishly functional and very close. My parents have been together for over three decades and they're an inspiration in all kinds of ways. I'm also pretty proud to say I'm building up a good network of friends up here - I'm most definitely an introvert, so making friends isn't the easiest for me, but I've stumbled into a great group and I couldn't be happier about that. I love history, music, going to plays and museums, stuff like that. I'm up for exploring, love road trips and travel in general, but I also enjoy just relaxing and hanging out. I'm looking for someone who's easy to talk to, kind, generous, smart and funny. Are you that somebody? (Ugh, that sounded cheesy. Whatever.) Hi. I'd love to go somewhere subdued and laid back (crowded and noisy clubs/bars are what hell is like, I'm pretty sure) where a good conversation can take place. A stroll around town is great, as is a picnic, going to a museum, historical walking tours, wine tastings, stuff like that is my favorite.

A little about me; I'm a happy, outgoing, person. Life is to short to focus or worry about the negative things in life. I'm funny, sarcastic, full of personality, the f bomb is my favorite word in the English language (although I do know when to use the off button), and I can be random at times, well most of the time. I'm also a bit of a "closet nerd", I will leave it at that. I am in school working toward my BSN, so looking forward to getting that done. I have tattoos, and piercings, and I love them all. Not to be rude, and it's a shame that I have to say this because we're all (supposed to be) adults here - but please have yourself together. I am not looking to find someone that has more issues than a teenage girl. I have my life together, have my own place, a car, and a job - meaning I'm not looking for someone that I need to take care of, I have dogs for that. I love having intelligent conversations with people about a wide array of things from movies, to sports, politics (yep I can go there lol), and anything in between. I love my current career, but I've always wanted to be a Nurse. So I figured why not, no time better than the present. A favorite quote of mine "[Shows] that all the wisdom we need is already available to us in abundance.." T.MI love all types of music. My music lists are all over the place, from rap, country, rock, gothic industrial, to dub-step (don't judge lol). I am probably the only female on the planet that does NOT like movies like The Notebook (or chocolate - no joke I hate it). The Walking Dead is the best show ever, no joke.Want to know more just ask I've already been there, and done that - so no worries! lolAnywhere in a public place is good with me.. You know, a place with a million exit options for either of us - just in case, haha!
