Hi!I'm a 26 year old woman, and I love to do anything creative. I'm currently an art teacher, and I love my job. I love reading (my library card is almost always maxed out) and I love writing. I'm actually working on a series of children's books/apps with my father, which has been a really fun project. I love animals, dogs AND cats (I know, unheard of, right?) and I love conversations with new people. Especially if there's coffee! Some people have been really confused about my religious beliefs, so I just want to add a clarification. I consider myself non-religious, but I DO consider myself spiritual. I meditate and read books about prayer, then go straight to a Carl Sagan book about the scientific workings of the universe. If you don't know what those are, you don't know what you're missing! *** in music: I've been in orchestra for years, so that should tell you something :) I love classical music, classic rock (imho, it doesn't get any better than Led Zeppelin) bluegrass, and songs from musicals, and lots of random celtic/new age stuff. I respect if some of these are not for you, but I hope it's not too off the mark :)I find myself a little bit stuck right now - a lot of my close friends have moved away, pursuing their masters degrees. I'd much rather watch a DVD at home than go clubbing. (I've actually never been clubbing. It sounds exactly like my definition of hell.)Well, that's all I can think of for now. Well time for an update...after being on here for a month or so I guess I'll get more to the point. You:-- enjoy sarcastic humour- witty- will put up with someone who likes to entertain wild ideas- loves or at least likes dogs- at least a few inches taller than me- not afraid to try new things- enjoys a simple life - are good with your hands (can build things and help around the house, not to mention other things ;)- if it turned into something serious, not be against living in other parts of the world- to me, sense of humour and intellect are the main traits that hook/keep me, though of course physical attraction is keyMe:- love to laugh and am easily amused- other than work am always looking for new trails, forests etc to take my dog- finished an undergrad in political philosophy and want to pursue a masters in the near future- enjoy people watching - would consider myself somewhere between "average" and "athletic", seems like people who put athletic are never athletic and average seems often to be misjudged to mean a few pounds extra or whatever the next choice is-- easy-going music taste...however Great Big Sea is by far my favourite bandIf any of this sounds decent feel free to message me and maybe we can make the most out of the rest of the summer!
