I love to laugh - don't you? I'm energetic, peaceful, independent, freedom loving, yet loyal and deeply attached to family and friends, confident, somewhat unconventional, open minded and yes, the glass is half full.I enjoy my family so much - I would choose them as friends. And I love my friends so much - I would choose them as family. Introspective and intense conversations that suddenly turn silly and have you falling off the chair laughing is a great time.I think the most beautiful places are always surrounded by water - any water - lake, river and most of all the ocean. I love the ocean. I love the expansiveness, the depth, and the strength in the sound of the waves. It would be wonderful to meet a someone that is confident, strong, equally independent , intelligent, robust sense of humor and above all kind. I’m not sure what makes a relationship work - mutual regard, balance and chemistry maybe? I suppose it is as different as the individuals involved.Music is mood altering and mood enhancing. My favorite motivational song is James Brown’s I Feel Good. Who’s stuck in the 70’s?!There is so much to learn and get to know. I’m looking forward to the journey.

I\'m a very unique, sometimes thoughtful, lazy kind of person, with no goals or ambitions. I like when people have red blood shot eyes from a long hard night of drinking. I find that incredibly sexy.

Woman. 54 years old. Zodiac sign: Scorpio.
Looking for: man. In age: 51-61
I am a woman of simple needs and desires, who would love to form a relationship with someone who can treat a woman with respect and appreciation. I will bring friendship, fun, and engaging conversation to a relationship, and I am looking for a companion with similar interests. I am an educator so it goes without saying that I adore children and enjoy helping others. I am very creative, can make almost anything by hand, and I love to learn new things. Summer is my favorite season because everything is alive and beautiful, and there is so much to do, especially since there are festivals every weekend. I love to sit on a quiet pier and fish and can filet what I catch! I am active and I try to get out and run a few times a week to keep stress at bay and to center myself. And, I try to get in a few 5K runs per year just to keep myself motivated. I am not into the bar scene, but I do enjoy a good pub burger and microbrew occasionally. The night life does not appeal to me, but rather quiet evenings at home or walking around town just to enjoy the night time solace are what I enjoy most.**********************************************REVISION: PLEASE READ*********************************************************************************** Hello again, and thank you for making an attempt to find a real connection. After writing my first intro, I felt I really didn’t say what I wanted to convey about myself and my goal for entering the online dating scene. I was a bit hesitant with this format, as we all can say ANYTHING online, but the face-to-face thing, I have discovered, is quite different. First, and foremost, I am looking for a friend, and I am hoping you will become my best friend. I came out of a long term relationship and learned a lot about myself, my needs, and my desires. I am not looking for short term, roll-in-the hay type encounters. So, if that is your intention, I am not for you. I am looking for an active participant in my life, and that may include the rest of my life, if we make the connection that so many of us want so badly, but I have values and love and respect for each other comes first. I am not a fan of winter, but I do love those quiet evenings when all you can hear is the gentle sound of giant flakes coming down… I run a couple of times a week and strive to be in the “10,***steps a day” club. I took up running four years ago- bucket list thing-and find running to be a great stress reliever and I believe we all should eat healthy and stay active. I recently graduated from college-another bucket list thing-and I believe it is important to continue to learn as long as you can. It keeps you young, sharp, and well, engaged in the world. I work in kindergarten and I can color up a storm, and often come home with glitter littering my hair. I never run out of hugs, nor patience, and education is my passion and purpose in life. I am a simple, down-to-earth person. No drama, no mask, I am what I am, and I will not play games or try to give you a false impression. Like everyone, honesty and open conversation is key to a healthy, happy relationship. I am tired of doing things alone and seriously, life is meant to be shared. I want to be appreciated for what I bring to a relationship, as a compliment to you, not a competition to show I am better than you. I want you to teach me your loves in life, and I want to teach you mine. Resourcefulness is part of what I am. I know how to do many things on my own, and if I don’t know how to do something, I will figure it out eventually. However, the one thing I have trouble with is finding a person who has the same values and desires as I do. I am quite adaptable to many situations, and appearance is secondary to personality and moral standards. Simply stated, you treat people how you would like to be treated. We all have faults, and a certain amount of history (or baggage), but life is all about second chances, learning from our mistakes (hopefully), and being able to hike up our pants and move forward and be abetter person for the lesson learned. If you read through my intro, and you really feel like I am what you have been looking for in life, then by all means, please contact me. If you are only attracted to my face, well, I can guarantee that part of me will change as the years go on. However, my spirit and soul will always be a constant: warm, kind, and caring. Always. The best first date should be meeting at a public place where we can talk. A screaming bar scene is not as effective as a walk along the shore or through a park, or at corner pub/coffee shop table, in my opinion.
