Hi there! I'm Jess. I'm 23 years old and holy crap, I've never written one of these before. I'd talk about what I like but we wouldn't even scratch the surface and hey, might as well save something to talk about later, right? It's so much more interesting to learn that kind of thing in person. So how about goals... I graduated college with a diploma in social services, and then again in law. Right now I work as a Paralegal in a small law firm, but my goal is to one day become licensed and have my own practice. I'm not even going to touch my taste in music, because my ipod is almost /scary/. I like pretty much everything. Aw, now about what makes me unique! One of a kind. My mommy tells me so, and you can take her word for it. I promise, you'll never meet anyone else quite like me.In a nutshell, I'm extremely easy going, optimistic, and pretty happy with my life right now. It's just missing ***little thing. A special someone to share it all with.So, how about ten random facts about myself?1) Sarcasm and myself go hand-in-hand (please don't take half of what I say seriously, and I would never purposefully mean to offend).2) I'm allergic to cats but I still own two. It's the saddest love story ever.3) I'm a neat freak. Lysol wipes are my best friends because dust doesn't stand a chance!4) I'm trying very hard to learn German because Bill Kaulitz makes a prettier girl than I do and I want to know his secret.5) I've been to several states and have plans to travel to several more before moving onto exploring the rest of the planet.6) Grammar is important. Don't let yourself look/sound like an idiot because you can't spell basic words. 7) Meeting people is freaking HARD. If you've made it this far, message me, dammit, I love meeting new people and making new friends.8) I love to cook and I swear to god you'll have a tastegasm from my food. 9) I'm afraid of the dark. Don't laugh, it's terrifying and you know it.***I have an unhealthy diet soda addiction. It's my version of a coffee addiction. I'm game for anything!

Although my place is in IL, I am usually in Indy every weekend seeing as my family lives there, it is where I grew up, and it is also where I choreograph and coach gymnastics on occasion. I know that I should probably have an idea of what I want to do when I graduate, but I really am not set yet. I love to teach and would really enjoy doing so at the college level--ideally at a small private university (similar to the one I attended for my undergrad). However, I really am looking forward to doing some traveling and possibly relocating and getting a fresh start. But that is months away, so you never know. Your life can change in minutes, so I guess can only plan for so much! So with that said, I don't mind talking to anyone from any location because I ready to make a move and make a change :)Now for the minutiae of this section... I especially love movies that take place in the Medieval or Renaissance periods. Movies with dry, intellectual humor, like As Good As it Gets, also grab my attention. Comedies of course.;B and rap, and I also enjoy dubstep and house music.; Colour. But really, I love anything that has a strong bass or a dynamic beat because I'm a choreographer, so I'm always looking for something to dance to. Food: I'm of Italian decent, and thus, a love for food is ingrained in me! My favorite food/drink items, though, are Indian food, peanut butter, watermelon, pasta, chicken cordon bleu, dark chocolate, hot chocolate, unsweetened iced tea, and diet green tea. I don't like the typical. Movie and dinner are nice, but they can also be awkward on the first date. I want to be surprised and not have to plan! Spice it up! I'd rather do an activity (possibly rock climbing?) and then grab a really low key meal. I just wouldn't want too much pressure on either of us on the first date :)
