I'm not very good at "selling" myself, so here goes nothing!I'm a very simple girl who enjoys going out to a pub for a drink, watching movies, playing games, reading and hanging out with friends. I can be a very random person and I tend to have laughing fits for no logical reason (or maybe because it just makes life more fun).I would say that I am half a geek (but not a nerd - there's a difference). What I mean is that I watch some geeky things, I play a few geeky games and I go to some conventions. I am addicted to Supernatural - the TV show - I might have to find a cure for this eventually.I am a huge fan of Foo Fighters (just in case my picture didn't give it away...) and I think Dave Grohl is a genius. I'm an outdoorsy gal, always up for adventure. Travel is incredibly important to me. My work takes me all over the world sometimes into drastically impoverished and hostile areas. Although it can get rough, I can have a great day anywhere under any conditions. I love immersing myself in other cultures, accessing the humanity and history of people whom I would otherwise never have known. I love people and I have a knack for making them comfortable and getting them to laugh. I've worked in the ER, the homeless shelter and volunteered on patrol with the Police dept. My specialty is trauma response but for now I'm taking a much needed break and traveling in Europe for a few months. While traveling I'm visiting friends I've made over the years. I'm very outgoing and when I am lucky enough to come across amazing people I keep them close. My parents and my friends are of the highest caliber and I'm incredibly lucky to have such wonderful people in my life.I have a friendly (sometimes dirty) sense of humor. I love watching stand up comedy (Louis CK is my hero). I take things lightly and I'm quick to make a friend. I tend to be the person people come to when they're hurting or don't know what to do, though I've only recently learned how to return the honor. I like cooking fresh clean food, laughing, being outside and staying fit.Really, I'm just looking for someone to hang out with that wants to go do stuff (swim, climb, board, hike, paddle, jump, dive etc.).
