My personality is definitely that of a perfectionist. I believe you should strive to do your best at anything in life or don't even bother doing it at all. I graduated college with a 4.0, and although I am book smart, I can sometimes lack common sense. Nothing too drastic just some occasional blonde moments every now and then lol. :) I am an athlete; I played basketball for 10 years and currently hold the record for most points scored in the history of my high school (1,***points). I love a fun night on the town but also enjoy relaxing at home with a good movie after a long week. I am a nerd in that I am fascinated with financial planning and investments-- I am looking for someone with a similar religious background and life goals. I'm also looking for someone who can become my best friend--and we can go from there. ;) It doesn't really matter what we do as long as it's fun! :-) However, I have high standards not only for myself, but also for my partner. With that being said, here are my personal preferences--a few years older than me (I've ALWAYS dated men who were considerably older), emotionally and financially stable/independent, no kids or has kid(s) over 18, someone who is past the party stage/not just looking for a piece (NO BOOTY CALLS FOR THIS GIRL), and someone who can challenge me every day to make me a better person.     I've been studying animal science and yes, I want to be a veterinarian. With that being said I'm trying to find someone who actually has manners and is honest and upfront. Being able to differentiate between your and you're; their, there and they're; and general spelling and grammar skills are a plus. I've worked about 10 years off and on as a veterinary technician and am trying to get more into animal research in case I have to fall back on pursuing a PhD. That's right, a PhD is not my dream, that DVM is. If you're still reading, I can handle myself around 1,***,***lb animals so don't underestimate me! Unfortunately the grad student lifestyle is very sitting intense so I'm trying to do more hiking with my dog. I can probably tell you more about animals than you'd ever want to know and I can definitely hold up my end of a conversation. I'm not so into guys that are afraid to get dirty or walk in the rain.. I promise the dirt will come off in the shower and you will not melt.I may seem like a hard or cold person from all of that but come on, I'm a girl! I'm more comfortable meeting up for casual things than a date on the first meeting! Anything where I can take my dog is a plus and she loves swimming in oceans and lakes.
