So I'm at that point in life where I've got things together and I'm just looking for someone to share life with. I see online dating as a way of being introduced to more people so I like to chat a bit and if there is a connection it just makes sense to meet and confirm it! It's all well and good to make new friends but ultimately looking for a committed relationship so if that's not in your plans or you're scared of commitment or you just want to hook up or whatever don't bother. I recently bought my dream dog...an Akita! She is a sweetheart and involved in a big chunk of my life. I am fortunate to have a decent work - play balance and some great family and friends to spend off time with. I run a charity that primarily helps women with unplanned pregnancies access the resources they need to have and nurture their babies. I also work with race horses as a hobby although I'm taking a break from working with them every week. Not looking for anything complicated just a quality, handsome guy to enjoy spending time with and build a relationship. I'm not interested in wasting anyone's time so I don't generally respond unless I am interested at some level.I'm looking for tall, good-natured, honest and reliable. I'm big into honest, upfront communication even if it's awkward or difficult. I want someone who is excited about life and will be excited about me in our relationship. It is important to demonstrate to a person that you like them and care about them... I try to do that in various ways and would expect the same from a partner.I want to build a solid relationship with someone so while this obviously involves chemistry and attraction I want to get to know and trust you before jumping into bed. So if you are just looking for fun or "casual/no commitment" keep fishing on the other side of the pond and have fun :) Something fun that offers a break from staring at each other and divulging our life stories. I think it's important for a guy to put effort into planning a date. It doesn't have to be lavish, the point is that you cared enough to plan something.
