I'm a happy, positive person who likes to have fun. I get bored if I stay inside too long, but movie nights and lounging around all day can be fun occasionally after a particularly long week. I'm pretty active. I have high hopes for the future. I love science; I have a degree and a half. I prefer to be around people who are intellectual but not pretentious about it. I want to find someone that can introduce me to and teach me new things. I'm a little shy, but I open up easily to those who make me feel comfortable. I've been placed in many different types of situations, but I almost always find a way to make them fun.

I am a recently seperated mother of 2 young children, a girl and a boy. I enjoy spending time with my kids, working, cooking/baking new things, playing softball and watching all kinds of sports. I have 2 bachelors degrees and currently work full time. I am very fun to be around, but beware, I am very sarcastic!!! I am really bad at watching movies, I pretty much fall asleep no matter where I watch them at, and I don't drink too often, but I am not opposed to having a few drinks every once in a while with the right people. I am really into sports, and taking me to a game, or even to the park to play catch and have a picnic lunch would be perfect. I would like to get to know you and for you to get to know me. You aren't meeting my kids until we become more serious, I vowed to not be the type to bring random people in their lives just so they can see them leave.

There is so much about one person, but here it goes... Sometimes it can be very frustrating and take up a lot of my time, but I'm definitely up to anything that will break myself from working ***cause I completely could). It definitely helps me from going insane and getting exhausted. I love my job though and feel it is very rewarding. I'm pretty much game for anything: Braves games, football games (Go Eagles! GA Southern that is), concerts, bars, good wine, beach, pool, lake, sitting on a patio with beers and good company, mountains, hiking, etc. Honestly - anything that I'm around family and/or friends. But then, I also have my days when I like to lie on the couch and watch a movie or catch up on my TV shows - every girl needs her chick flick time every now and then (and I don't expect you to suffer through it haha). I love art (especially pottery) and take classes when I get a chance. Music wise... rock. Bon Jovi and Def Leppard are probably two of my favorites, but I also have others. Country pops up in the mix every now and then. I have a big family that I love very much. When we all get together, it can be very crazy, but I cherish every minute I get to spend with them (especially those who live far away).I'm not one of those girls who gets all dolled up all the time. I'd be more comfortable in a pair of jeans and flip flops than a dress.
