To start, I have to admit that I'm typically a shy person who puts more effort into work then having fun. Hoping to find someone to give me an excuse to not work so much. I like animals, cats in particular. I'm a christian and I'm looking for someone similar beliefs. I was raised Mennonite, but I'm pretty accepting of any protestant views. I'm very much a blue collar type of girl, meaning I would much rather get my hands dirty then sit behind a desk looking pretty. Probably because I was raised on a farm where it was just a way of life. I enjoy being outside. I play sports whenever time allows, I prefer soccer and slowpitch. I looked up 'nerd' on dictionary.com (just because) and the 1st definition was "a stupid, irritating, ineffectual, or unattractive person". That's not really what I had in mind when I wrote I heart nerds for my profile. Needless to say... nerd is subjective.About me... I am honest, down to earth and enjoy variety in life. I like to keep active and play sports and such... In the winter I play indoor volleyball and in the summer you can find me playing slow pitch, beach volleyball, or out on the trails running. (I was so close last time!) I have only completed part of my degree, and will be back taking courses soon to finish it up!Music and concerts = amazo. Some of my most memorable shows include... I'm pretty busy with trying to get through school while working full time but that doesn't mean I don't make time to enjoy life!! I'm currently in University finishing my BA with a Major in History and a Minor in English. My end goal is to be a high school teacher. I have worked very hard to get to this point and am fully dedicated to achieving my goals!So a few things about Me!!- I am lucky enough to have a great group of family and friends! I wouldn't trade them for the world and try to spend as much time with them as I can.-I am a huge sports fan. Football and Hockey are my faves. I am a diehard Canucks, Riders, and Saints fan. -I love music and concerts. I like many different types of music and artists and love it when people introduce me to something I haven't heard before.-Also really enjoy travelling, but hot, sunny, beachy locations are my favorite. I love the beach but hate the ocean. But I have good reason for that!-I have some tattoos and will probably get a few more. If you have tattoos, that's cool and if you don't that's cool too!I'm always into making new friends but not interested in people that don't have much to say!! Anything where we can chat and get to know each other. Nothing too serious!! A drink or coffee!
