I'm very skeptical about this online deal, but I let my friends talk me into giving it a try. I am a die hard LSU and NOLA Saints fan! I spell go with an "eaux" *** an o, and who dat is a common phrase in my life. I am a children's librarian/teacher. I am currently on a weight loss journey. I'm down about 80 lbs since the end of January! I'm at the point in my life where I don't think I want to just date for fun. I don't want to rush into anything either, but I don't want to get involved with someone who is just looking to hang out. I think it is difficult to write about one's self, but here it goes... I graduated from HS and a nursing program. I am currently a Medical Assistant. My plans are to work with children. Hopefully, I'll land in a pediatrician's office. I am currently working in a doctors office during the week and doing home health care on the weekends. Some of my other interests include listening to music(prefer country, but listen to various other genres too). I enjoy chatting online and going into the country singing rooms. It's amazing how talented some people are! I enjoy watching movies too, which tend to be "chick flicks" and usually have those "only in the movies dreams come true" endings. But there is always hopes and dreams... don't ya think? I also enjoy time with my friends and family. Now, to get down to the "nitty gritty," I've been told that I'm a really sweet and nice person. At times, I even been accused of being "too nice." Personally, I do not know how that can be, but oh well! I'm a person who doesn't want to play games and am straight up and honest. I place a lot of emphasis on honesty in people. I also love a great sense of humor; love to laugh and enjoy life! I'm not a material person. As the saying goes...."What matters most in life can't be bought."
