Okay... I'm starting this again and a bit more educated on what I'm looking for. First of all, I have a young son whom of course is my world. I'm a no nonsense, 'not going to buy the bs you're selling' kind of woman. I'm not expecting to find 'the one' but I'm not looking to waste time either. I love to joke around and can be quite sarcastic. I like the outdoors... in a casual way. I've enjoyed some wineries and estate sales this summer. I enjoy live music and lounging outside. I like hanging out at home, watching a movie and laughing but I also enjoy going and doing new things. The same old same old gets, well, old... I guess I'm looking for a similar type of man. I'm Intetested in someone who is somewhat established or at least has a destination in mind. Someone with a good sense of humor but who can also have a good discussion. And of course someone who can handle my sarcasm, take a little sh*t and maybe dish it back.

I consider myself a mature geek. Yes I like anime and enjoy Marvel movies. I loved the XMen since I was a kid, so I'm glad to see some movie justice. I do have a love of Peanuts/ Snoopy. I have a different view on comedy steamed from my love of the work by Charles Addams. I have a love of anime and character design in my non work time. I am still a kid at heart and love items that remind me of time past. I'm not all geek though. I love sitting outside and watching nature at its finest. I enjoy art and have dabbled in photography. I love science of all forms and am constantly trying to learn more: thank you national geographic, discovery, and Smithsonian. I have a strong family bond and enjoy being around my family as much as possible. I also love to cook and bake and try new recipes all the time.The first thing people notice about me is my shyness and how quiet I can be. I'm not an easy one to get to talk right away. I'm quite reserved at times until I get to know someone better and can really open up.How I typically spend my leisure time: I love to read during my down time. I also use that time to catch up on my dvr. I love different types of music ranging from Country to Pop, Rock, Alternative. Not a fan of rap though.What I look for in a guy is really three things that all work together. There must be honesty and trust, without that a relationship is doomed. Also, communication is key. Without the ability to communicate with each other, there can be no trust. I'm also looking for a guy who has goals for his life and has pursued a degree of some type. I have a Masters and don't necessarily want to be in a relationship where I outshine my partner due to the high nature of my degree. Also- If you are here for games or for anything that does not involve getting to know me for me and maybe starting a relationship- don't contact me. A nice talk over coffee or dinner to see what sort of connection may be there. I do not do the bar/club thing. I'm up for other ideas as well.
