Pre- P.S.: Why, oh WHY would you put pics on here with you surrounded by hot women?!? Trying to make me jealous already? It's intimidating, I'll just flat at tell you that, and THAT is probably why no one is messaging you, so stop b!itching about it. I'll just put that out there for you. Carry on.I am a single mom of two adorable children (who doesn't think their own kids are the cutest ever?) and I do shared parenting with them. I work from home as a freelance artist (portraits, murals, painting). I'm unique, outspoken, honest, liberal, very logical and an agnostic and teach my children to think, ask questions, research, find answers. I listen to music almost 24 hours a day. I love to draw, I can play piano/keyboard and was actually in a rock band for a few years in my early twenties. I like to think out of the box, I desire unique and insightful conversation, I like debating on a friendly level, I can be stubborn and bullheaded at times but am never afraid to admit when I'm wrong or to apologize. I wish more people were like that. I like to have company over and drink and maybe head out to a local pub for the atmosphere of being social and around people. Family is important to me, as I and mine just became close again.I'm looking to date and meet new people. I don't do exclusivity until there's a serious connection. I need someone who can deal with my spontaneous nature or who can deal with my "I just wanna stay in the house" moods. You will need to understand a creative mind and my tendency to jump from topic to topic. If you don't talk, I'll talk your ear off so it would be nice to find someone who can interject yet not take over the entire conversation with their ego.     I think the best way to describe myself is well-rounded. I enjoy everything from riding my Harley and flying, to outdoor activities, sporting and cultural events, music and the arts, etc. I come from a government/military background and have lived in several countries, am very fond of travelling and make an effort to go on at least one or two international trips a year...full of history, architecture, rich food and not one, but two, vodka museums with samples galore. :) I definitely have an appetite for adventure and embrace the 'life is short' philosophy! I'm forthright, passionate, confident, driven and have a desire to constantly learn and excel at new things. If you couldn't tell from some of the pictures, having a sense of humor, being goofy and able to laugh at yourself is part of keeping a well balanced life :-) My friends say I have the versatility to go from tomboy to girly girl in 0 to 10 and fit into almost any setting or situation with ease. I'm not sure how accurate that is, but it's a nice compliment nonetheless. I'm also a Latin woman, which means I come with a feisty demeanor and lots of curves (so if you're looking for the waif-like/slender type, I'm not it). I somehow got coerced into co-owning a small business and contracting for the government. (Still haven't figured out exactly how that happened lol) So there are a lot of crazy hours, driving/travel and living out of a suitcase involved. I am hopeful that the insanity will calm down soon though. I tend to be attracted to strong, secure, non- I want a partner...someone to be challenged by physically, emotionally and intellectually and vice versa. That's easier said than done, but I know it's possible :) Obviously the profile says I'm looking for a relationship, but who knows what I'll find...perhaps a travel partner, new riding buddy, future business referral, general friend or the great love of my life-- :) How does the shooting range and then dessert sound? lol

    What I like to do is not the same as who I am, but I guess it's a good place to start.I love:Music - I'm a bit of an indie snob. My favorite bands include New Pornographers, The Pass, Passion Pit (their remix of the Cold War Kids "Yours is Mine" is AMAZING), Tegan and Sara, AFI (not indie, I know), Band of Horses, etc, etc. I also love 80's music. So that's a little nutshell of what I like to do. Who I am...I'm politically liberal and have a few issues about which I'm passionate. I'm kind of a home body but would love to meet someone who wants to break up my routine a little. I'm shy and it takes me awhile to warm up to new people, which makes it hard to meet people. But once I'm comfortable with someone, I loosen up. I'm blunt and will say exactly what I'm thinking. In the right situation I can be that girl who will get on top of a chair/table and dance to Lady Gaga. I don't like people who are uptight or pretentious. I am LDS. I was inactive for many years, mostly due to the conflict of my personal politics vs. those of the church, but have recently started going again. I'm still trying to find my footing but would prefer to date a like-minded LDS person. But prefer doesn't mean require. I'm open to all possibilities. In a relationship, I'm looking for someone that I can be myself with. Someone who gets my sense of humor, who can make me laugh, who I can open up to and be comfortable with.
