It's the little things in life that are important...I love hugs, spending time with my nephews, holding hands, laughing, snow at Christmas, leaves turning colors in the fall, warm apple cider and the list could go on and on. I want to work to live and not live to work. About me: I'm a fun, sweet and active southern gal with a great sense of humor. I enjoy spending time with friends, hiking, traveling, reading books, watching movies, laughing, being silly, going to Disneyland, trying new restaurants, meeting new people and spending time with my family. I'm not from LA but have lived here for 11 years and definitely enjoy the weather (most of the time) and all of the different activities that living here offers. I have 3 little nephews that I absolutely adore and wish I was able to see them more. I grew up watching sports and playing soccer.). I also worked in sports for a few years and admire the dedication and drive of true athletes. I enjoy traveling and try to plan 1 big trip a year.I don't have a checklist of things that I'm looking for. I tend to go with my gut and believe that chemistry and connection are really important. If you don't take life too seriously, know how to laugh at yourself and understand that it's the little things in life that matter, let me hear from you.

I'm a fairly laid back girl :) Family is most important to me! I love watching football with family every Sunday... I run a family pool and am in a fantasy league with family... perhaps I'm a little obsessed! haha! It's so hard to decide what to say on here. It's worse than a job interview. But similar feelings... like oh is this the right thing to say? Is this impressive or does it make me look or sound like an idiot? Ok so maybe I tend to analyze things a little too much... I am a counselor by trade!! Anyway, I'm looking for someone to get to know and see what happens. Someday I want that white picket fence life... but without the white picket fence! :) Let's see, more about me... I love to travel! I love live music... outdoor concerts are the best! I love the beach... it can be so calming! My goals include earning my Ph.D. and becoming a college professor. I want to be that older, cool, laid back professor. I also hope to write a book someday... I worked in mental health for 8 years and am now a Guidance Counselor at an alternative school... I've got lots of crazy stories! And since I mentioned a few things I love... here's a few I hate... the Patriots, mean people and tomatoes!! I guess that's enough about me for now! :) Something simple and relaxed for a first meeting... meet for a drink and go from there...
