Well lets see where do I begin. I am basically starting over in life right now. I am recently divorced, had to give up pretty much everything I workers hard for in life and learn what is truly important in life. The first question I get is where do I work and I will be honest I don't right now. I have been diagnosed with cancer and I am serverely anemic so I am not well enough to at the current moment. I say this not for attention or sympathy because I don't want any of that but this is a big part of my life and if you dated me it would be unfortunately part of the relationship. You may ask why not date after I'm well but I want someone that can be there for me in the bad times as well as the good. Lets face it we all want someone that can make you feel like everything is going to be ok. If you aren't wanting a relationship then ur not for me, I have never been the type to date around. I am a huge animal lover and rescue quite a few strays so you have to atleast like animals. I would also like to add unfortunately treatment has caused me to gain some weight and apparently looks is the main thing people look at. Hey, never tried this before, so here goes, I am a really deep old soul, good hearted person. I believe you should give unto others as they give unto you. Lol I believe a first date should be decently respectful. As crazy and out of concept this world has become on dating i still wish it was the way it was back when men opened the door for the lady, and didn't get so personal right off the bat. I like respect and i give respect. Somewhere over the years, it has seemed to have gotten lost in the chaos of evolution. I want someone who would be outgoing and make me laugh, and not be afraid to be himself, even on the first date. So really, as long as were having fun, it doesn't matter.

I do not go to church like i want but try when i can. Im not a smoker. I do have a drink from time to time. I like to get to know people so i do ask alot of questions. Communication is very inportant no matter what kind of relationship you have. Just be honest and true and the rest will fall into place. Health awareness is important i try to take care of me so i would like the same in return. A good first date would be to meet in a public place. Walk or go somewhere you can get a drink or ice cream a place where you can sit and talk. If you hungry then a small meal with good conversation and get to know each other. Talk about yourselves and your family if you have one. See how the vibe is and then decide if you would like to go on another date and either exchange numbers or just say it was nice to meet you and go from there.
