I hate drama and want no part of it. I'm not a morning person. I have a questionable sense of fashion. I'm fairly androgynous. I don't kill bugs and spiders, but I will toss them outside (in the summer) if they terrify you. I usually know when to come in out of the rain, but not always, and sometimes I get wet. I could never live in a big city, but enjoy visiting. Bright colors thrill me. I can be a bit stubborn. I will always have a cat in my life. I am up for an adventure, or content to watch a movie at home. I enjoy craft beer. I read everyday. I once ran an organic CSA farm. Good manners are important to me. I mean what I say and I say what I mean. I would rather be alone than be with someone who wasn't right for me. I enjoy gaming (online,video,card, and board). I have a great career with a very gay friendly company. I love my canoe. I am a total food snob (comes with the job). I like to cook, to be cooked for, and to eat out. I love to make people laugh, and frequently laugh at myself. Buying a motorhome and traveling from great place to great place for a while after retirement appeals to me, along with searching the beach for pirate gold. Right now I treasure hunt in antique shops.I'm tend to be more physically attracted to feminine women, but ultimately it's all about the chemistry. I think partners should be best friends. I live on a small body of water where boating is possible, so you being into the water and the sun would be a plus. I just moved to this area so new friends to explore things with would also be great. I'm a simple girl with a simple dream: To be happy, healthy and a little wiser everyday. I would say I'm a work in progress but that implies I have issues...which I don't (well not serious ones anyway). I just want to have some fun with a great woman - traveling, exploring, searching...for nothing and everything.About me...hmmm..., I am a relatively intelligent, witty and sarcastic woman. I have never met a stranger, friendly, helpful, kind, considerate, animal lover, quirky, good listener, confidante and partner in crime. I love trying new restaurants, movies and road trips to nowhere in particular. I can be goofy and have been known to waltz (badly) in the middle of the street for the heck of it. Someone has to do it. I'm looking for the same things everyone else is...someone that is similar to me but with enough differences to make it interesting. The perfect woman for me would understand that wanting "me" time does not mean I've lost interest and would want some time of her own, is okay that I'm a morning and night person, doesn't ask questions when I'm covered in flour and there's no cake and rational enough to tell me no when I think I have the greatest idea ever. A sense of humor is very important. Someone has to waltz badly with me in the middle of the street. I could say a movie, or live music venue but then we'd never get to know each other. Hmmm...Let's pick something like bowling, Putt-Putt...something we can laugh about while we get to know each other. However, if you would prefer coffee I'm always up for a cup!
