I enjoyed it there, but it feels great to be back home, in the Port City!! What do I enjoy most? Riding Harleys and horses! I also like to work out at the gym and walk on the beach. I like to stay in shape. I was once overweight back when I was married, I don't ever be that way again!! I feel soo much better now :) I do like to laugh and love making others laugh as well. I am a firm believer that before anyone else can like us, first we must like ourselves, it took me awhile to learn that but I finally got to that point and I really do like who I am now and I am even at a place in my life now where I don't mind being alone. I enjoy reading and have started reading from some really talented authors work.I am divorced and I still think my ex husband is a wonderful man but he wanted to study a type of religion that I had no interest in studying or learning about in any capacity! We had two sons together, that are grown men now, although they sometimes don't act it, lol. But that's fine with me. I'm very proud of the men that they have become. I am looking forward to being able to be close to them :-) again!!From celtic to country to southern rock even some of the really old oldies, and yes, even a little Elvis lol. First date should be very simple, more of a meet and greet that way if you're not really into that person, you can make a quick exit, but then again, if you are wanting to get to know your "date" a little better, maybe a walk on the River front or maybe at the beach. To put it very simply ~ It doesn't take much to make me happy. I like nice thing but I'm not materialistic! I like attention but I'm not needy! I'm a very spiritual person who loves spending time with family and friends. I adore my daughter and grandchildren and I love LSU and Saints football! I enjoy boiled crawfish and bonfires! Honesty and trust are MUSTS in my book. I think communication and mutual respect are very important! I'm an independent woman with a good job. Coffee and conversation or something simple for a first date is always nice. Maybe a walk along the river. Someplace fairly quiet to allow for some good conversation and get to know each other!
