Hi there. I am a fairly shy person so trying to write something about myself is never easy. I am a very active person. Clearly I run, love hiking with my dog and I play some sports when my schedule allows and as a last resort I hit the gym. I like the gym I just prefer to be outside doing something. My music tastes vary greatly and if listening to my ipod you could go from Adele to Rise Against then Sugarland to Eminem. I do relax sometimes as well and enjoy an evening home watching movies or a hockey game. I also like going to pubs for live music and occasionally a night out to a bar as I enjoy dancing. (when drinking I think Im pretty good at it lol) I am looking for a person with similar interests. A laid back personality. Not looking to rush into anything. Looking for someone to hang out with, start as a new friend and if things develop from there that's great if not its always nice to meet new people. I think this gets decided later based on what both people are into.

A little disclaimer: I haven't updated this for about a year....so most things have changed. Sorry, I don't feel like updating content...so you'll just have to ask questions to learn about me!I wouldn't actually say that I'm a treehugger completely, but meetville made me pick a word! I've only used a dating site once, and gone on two dates from it, so I'm pretty new to this. I'm a very romantic person, and I'm pretty hooked on that moment when you meet someone randomly that you are attracted too and that you connect with. However, since I'm sure we all know by now that chemistry isn't always an indication of a good long-term match, I'm trying something new. I've just recently got a new job as an Environmental Planner, and I've just finished my master's degree. Family and old friends are very important to me, although I have a very small family.I'm into cooking and eating good, healthy food. I'd like to learn to hunt and fish (I have my hunting license), or to date someone who can bring home the meat and I'll grow the vegetables and collect mushrooms :) I like live music (my musical tastes are very diverse but include: reggae, soul, hip-hop, indie, folk, bluegrass, classic rock) and to go out dancing. I LOVE salsa dancing and I'm pretty good at it ;) So, if I find someone who is a salsa dancer (or willing to learn), that's a bonus. I'm looking for someone who likes to try new things, likes to travel and is very into outdoor physical activity (hiking, surfing, skiing, sailing etc.)I'm also looking for someone who is relatively educated or just intelligent/well-travelled, and comfortable discussing history, politics, world issues, art and so on (sometimes, other times I just like to talk about stupid stuff and act like an idiot). My friends tell me that I'm pretty funny and have a good sense of humour. Drop me a line if you like the sounds of me and think you might be what I'm looking for :) But please only message back and forth with me if you want to meet up in person fairly quickly, I'd rather know early on if there is any in-person chemistry. Go to the beach. Go out for a pint of locally brewed beer (there are quite a few sweet sounding pubs around Vic that I haven't tried yet). Or...something much more unique and interesting...but actually, I'm pretty into the beach and/or beer, so why mess with a good thing?
