About Me

I'm funny, smart and outgoing. Although I like to think I’m a wall flower, I’m told that I tend to stand out. I'm independent, competitive, affectionate and physical. Somewhat of a social butterfly I enjoy spending time with people but am comfortable and enjoy spending some time alone. I enjoy cooking, baking and BBQing and if given the choice, I would rather stay in and make supper together than go out to a restaurant. There’s something fun and intimate about puttering around the kitchen together. I listen to all kinds of music depending on my mood and the activity I'm doing but The Highway and The Heat are my two favorite Serius channels. I have a tendency to be the ice breaker and the class clown. Because of my job I have moved around quite a bit and getting used to change is something that comes easily to me. I consider myself to be an optimist so I always try to find the silver lining and make the best of a bad go. I would like to meet a man who's honest, outgoing, and confident. You have your life together. I'm not looking for one-night stands, new friends or to be some married guys' escape from his wife. I want to find someone that I can be crazy about. I want to hold hands, flirt, be romanced and get phone calls, texts and *** no real reason other than to say "I'm happy I've met you". I want to be with a man who’s thoughtful, affectionate and clam. You're fit (mentally, emotionally and physically), are willing to compromise and are open-minded. I'm looking for someone that can be my best friend that can make me smile and give me butterflies just by walking in the room. You can keep a secret and a promise and follow through with what you say. You don't write like you speak or like you would text. I believe it's important to treat people how we want to be treated so I tend to send text and *** remind you I'm happy I've met you too, I tend to grab cheesy souvenirs when I travel and I like to remember and celebrate the 'little' things. **kids** I have a 13 year old son who I think is pretty cool. Because I've raised him on my own we're very close. He does have a father that he knows and has a relationship with so I'm not looking for a man to fill that role. He's old enough to understand I'd like to meet someone so he's cool with me dating. I'm not in a hurry to bring the two of you together but he's my reality so life with me will include him as well so you have to be ok with 'little' humans. Because I'm still young enough I haven't closed the door on ever having another child but I am beyond happy with the way my life is now so not having more will not upset me. I'm ok with you having kids of your own and expect that life with you will include them as well. First date is more of a chemistry check. Let's get together for a coffee or a frosty beverage. We could walk and talk, hit up a dog park or a mini golf course.
