About Me

I work full time overnight at a job I love. I also go to school where I'm working on a BSW in Social Work and am a girl scout leader for 2 troops. I have FOUR wonderful children who mean everything to me, two boys age 14 and 10 and two girls 12 and 9. I'm sweet, honest, a little quiet sometimes, faithful, loyal, a little shy till I get to know you, but then much more outgoing once I get comfortable around someone. I'm shy so I'm not really into talking on the phone with someone usually till I get to know them. I prefer to talk on here or text, but am kinda annoyed when someone says one statement then asks for pictures. I have pictures on here, this is what I look like. They are not 20 year old pictures, I promise. Once we meet and get to know each other and like each other, then talking on the phone is different. Also, I don't date African American/black men, sorry I'm not prejudice, just not my preference. I would be friends with them, but nothing more than that.     I have just returned to the area after being abroad for a few years, and thought I would try this out. I think I am a down-to-earth, nice, intelligent and sweet girl. I am well educated and expect the same in a partner. When the weather is nice I enjoy biking and being outdoors (at the beach, on the water, sitting on a patio, having a bon fire with a glass of wine or BBQ would be ideal). I also enjoy movies, reading, games nights, and traveling. I like being with friends and family, and meeting new people. I want a partner who has similar interests, but who can also bring his interests into the relationship. I think a relationship should happen naturally, but it also requires work- communication (and laughter) is key.     ...If it hasn't worked out then it isn't the end. Smart, healthy, funny, outgoing, animal loving, outdoor loving woman looking for the same. I'm pretty easy to entertain, anything from a night at the opera to a good hockey game and I'm pretty happy especially in good company, but I'm definitely to the point where a quiet evening in watching a movie and cooking a good meal with people that are important to me is equally enjoyable to an evening out. I'm not a kid anymore so I'm way over the bar and club scene. I love movies, games (not the head kind but the board and card kind), performing arts, cooking, reading, live music really just about anything (except dancing; I'm terrifyingly bad at it). Recently became a yoga enthusiast after joining gym and tryin out a class.
