I like long walks on the beach, a good sunset, and puppies--ok in all seriousness, well although I do like those things, that's not all that I'm about. I like spontaneity, architecture, exploring new cities, a good laugh, a good beer and good people. That being said, I'm not afraid to try new things once and I'm up for anything and everything. I've always had a dream of going sky diving or bungee jumping--but I also have a fear of heights, so I don’t know when that’s going to happen. For now I'll stick to activities on the ground that excite me--like dancing, art, and photography. Even though I'm from LA, I think I break the "LA" mold and am a pretty laid back girl, and am looking for someone who is also interested in exploring all that LA has to offer.I'm looking for someone who I can have a good time with hanging out at home cooking a meal together and also out playing darts at our favorite bar.     I spent 2 months on safari in Africa a few years ago, it changed the way I saw my life and the people around me. I do all the normal things, eat.. sleep... shower... but I also do some different things. I scuba dive, train animals (dolphins, sea lions and even some monkies), milk cows and lifeguard. I really like emergency medicine, I'm an EMT-wilderness and a rescue scuba diver. I want to train a search and rescue dog someday. I'm an over achiever in most areas of my life but a slacker at heart, I enjoy a night at home watching TV as much as going out to a club. It doesn't matter where I am as long as the conversation is stimulating and it doesn't smell that bad. When you've trained search and rescue dogs in the local dump you'll understand... it doesn't matter how cool the person or how great the conversation: you are in a dump. I love to travel and have a few trips planned for this year. I'm working on my doctorate and work full time but I always make time for fun, its the only way I stay sane in my profession.
