About Me

Hi! Does anyone go to the meetville mixers??Lets jump right in shall we?Ok, I have no pets, I love animals... other people's animals (even snakes and lizards). I can ride a horse, I played coed ice hockey when I was 17. I'm a creature of routine and habit. I will admit that I'm a binge reader, I love fantasy and young adult series books. My friends always peg me as outgoing and full of life but I'm really very shy and can be reserved in new situations. I'm a bit intimidated by the trendy club-goer type. I cannot speak american slang, but I'm like totes fluent in valley girl - for translation purposes. I try to excel in everything I do but I don't have a real hobby. I would love to get out more but don't have a partner in crime to get out with. And the big one..... everyone mentions something about working out and staying fit.... I don't love to work out, but will do it (if dragged kicking and screamin, j/k... Maybe), my preference is to do a fun activity (like dancing). I like to eat healthy but will indulge in good food, wine, desserts etc. The holidays are always a challenge! Too much good food!One more thing- I can survive single! I would love to be in a relationship but if its not right I have no problem walking away. Doesn't mean I run at the drop of a hat, but learned I need more than just attraction, so lets get to know each other.About me: I enjoy singing karaoke, and dancing at the local Country bars. I like to ride ATV's, most anything to do with water, going to the movies, hanging out with friends, BBQ's, and would like to do more outdoor activities. I'm not a huge sports nut but I love the energy and passion that sport nuts have... till their team loses but it makes holiday shopping a breeze! Some have described me as honest, charming, friendly, goofy, bubbly, easy-going, nerdy, loyal, low maintenance, generous, caring, genuine, and intelligent. Not exactly in that order and rarely at the same time. Most important to me: My son, Family, and my friends. What I dislike most: The constant doom and gloom of negative people. Ugh they are such a downer. ;) My "ideal" guy is, smart, fun loving, attractive, funny, has hair, kid(s), loves to smile, is a bit taller than me, likes going out just as much as he does staying at home (plus can stand to do some of the stuff I listed above). Someone who can get my adventurous side out of the shadows. This isn't a 'must have' list of qualities I look for but what I've been drawn to in the past. And non-smoker is a plus! Happy fishing! Coffee, drinks, appetizers, billiards, arcade, dance lessons. Something simple, inexpensive, fun...

    First off, I love to laugh! I'm always smiling and happy. My friends and family would classify me as a person that's sweet, has a huge heart, cares deeply for animals, dependable, can be quite silly but still classy, confident but can get shy sometimes, and loves to have fun. I have grown a lot over the years, and I love the person I have become. I know what I want out of life, and I'm excited for what is to come. It's the small things in my life that make me happy, like....Laughing so hard until I cry, the way my dog is so happy to see me every morning as if I wasn't there with him all night, the way music can make all troubles go away, the hugs I get from my students, seeing people being kind to someone they don't even know, trying to bake the perfect cupcake, listening to the rain hit the roof, and my silly sarcastic sense of humor. I'm a nice, smart girl that doesn't play games, and I'm looking for the same in a guy. :) I truly believe relationships take time to grow. People need to spend time together to get to know one another. However, chemistry must be felt right off the bat! I can usually tell right away if there is that special chemistry with someone.

    Well this is one thing I'm not really good at so here it goes....yes I have an accent... I'm a independent single mom and I take care of my responsibilities... no I'm not a Barbie doll... I prefer to be real not fake..I do have a job and surprisingly enough my head is on straight.. I'm laid back and enjoy all types of music.. I like to race and tinker with cars..
