My girls are grown and I wanted to start a new chapter in my life.I love spending time with friends and my family, hiking, camping and spending time outdoors. I prefer warm weather vs cold weather. My girls mean the world to me. I try to be kind to everyone and expect the same in return. Im usually shy at first until I get to know you. I love to goof around and make people laugh.I have no tolerance for rude or disrespectful people. Life is too short. Coffee or meet for a drink so that we can talk and get to know each other better.

Here is my start with more to come ... I am happy, honest, and am told vivacious. I smile a lot, I laugh a lot, I almost always have a song that I am singing internally. I will always chose to see the glass half full so have been able to experience many adventures with a great attitude and to laugh at those which have not been so wonderful. I am feminine, intelligent, easy going, adventurous, confident, secure, and very prone to make mistakes (which I will laugh about) :). I believe in "chemistry" but I am aware that a good, solid relationship requires a chemistry that grows and continues over time well beyond the initial spark. That being said, there must be something initially which attracts me to someone and this something is far deeper than a person's physical appearance. I enjoy life and have especially enjoyed being a parent. My children are now grown; one still in college and one just graduated and beginning her "new life". So now, it's my turn :)IMy hobbies are varied from the physical pursuits; cycling, hiking, skiing, crossfit, ( this October I participated and completed the Tough Mudder which was an amazing experience) ... to the arts;;tinker"). I enjoy movies, learning opportunities, spirited discussions, and just time "hanging around". My musical tastes are varied from classic rock, a little country, and the newer sounds. I love to dance so music is in my spirit. I read a variety of genres. Probably one of the most important books I have read and try to live by is The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz (not always easy to put in practice).I am interested in meeting a man who loves life and the challenges it brings, who wants to travel and explore locally, domestically, and internationally, is fit and active and loves the outdoors, is kind and caring and wants to take time to become friends first rather than leaping into a short term relationship based strictly on our physical chemistry (Not that there is anything wrong with that physical lust which we all love ... I just want to develop something in addition to :) )I look pretty good in a nice pair of jeans, dress, hiking boots, high heels, a bikini, an evening dress ... I am a bit shy about making the "first move", please excuse this part of my upbringing, so I will do my best to let you know I am interested. Please follow up.If you are fit, self confident, active, and adventurous, I would love to hear from you.BTW, I don't utilize the online "chat" option. Thanks Always a bit awkward. As fun as it sounds to go and "do" something unique and exciting, we don't know one another yet so the reality is ... coffee or a glass of wine is a good place to start.

Well, like I said... here I go again on my own... I've been here a couple times and have met some good folks but for whatever reason it just didn't work out. I can be a little hard-headed at times, so I thought what the heck, give it another shot and see what happens next.Me ? I'm just a ole country gal...sweet tea, boots 'n jeans...'til it's river time, then cut offs, flip-flops 'n tshirt and a cold beer. I love to be surrounded by friends and family...but the quiet of a walk in the woods, down a county road, sitting by the fire, camping suits me just fine. I am honest, loyal and faithful - do not have time or tolerance for stupidity, game playing, liars, cheats and/or laziness. I'm on the redneck side, but I do know how to turn on the class when the occasion requires it. I can shoot guns, sit a horse, ride a motorcycle, skin a deer, and even cook up those fish we caught. I am not materialistic or fake...what you see is what you get.I am generally adventurous / spontaneous, but I can organize and plan a party, get-together and get-away. I've learned that nothing is written in stone so it's good that flexibility and adaptability are my nature. I do like to travel, do flea markets, garage sales, go out to dinner, movie and dance...maybe throw a bowling ball, etc. I am not materialistic, jealous nor selfish. I've been told I have a quick wit and big sense of humor, which is good 'cause I love to laugh ! I tend to be the "glass half full" personality, finding something positive and/or humorous to most situations.I'm a "piddler" - gotta keep my hands busy. I don't think I'm "crafty" but I do enjoy carving and branding leather (billfolds, belts, etc); I do some beading and scrap-booking, and yes, I will occasionally sew. I read a little here and there, mostly mystery/drama novels.I reckon I'm looking to find that one person who enjoys some of the same, and adds a few new interests for me. Someone I can count on, who takes me as I am, without trying to mold me into what he thinks is his perfect, or a replacement for the one he lost...mutual admiration and respect, and genuine interest in each other's life lessons and hopes for future experiences. When we hit it off, I would hope we each want us to be individuals together and not a couple separate.I've just gotten into a few TV shows...Duck Dynasty; Gator Boys, Swamp People... Movies I like Comedies and Drama, most anything but not into futuristic stuff. Music - I love it all, well I say all, meaning no rap - I realize it's "art" but it ain't music to me. LOL Country and Classic Rock are my faves.I hope this hasn't bored you to tears or been too overwhelming so we will have something to talk about later on.... If things haven't changed too much, I assume most folks say, "dinner and a movie" or "meet 'n greet for conversation". Me? I'd like to count stars...take a back-road drive...sit by a fire...or go for ice cream....no pressure, no expectations, just be ourselves.
