To clear things up I no longer use drugs.That was a lifetime ago! But those days sure were fun! I am very involved in community projects and volunteering.I manage a non profit community center and love to organize events there. It takes a village and I am part of it! I co manage a farmers market too, really fun!I absolutely love to cook ( and do so professionally ) and enjoy going to out of the way places and meeting the locals and trying different cuisine. Always some good stories and local lore to be heard.I enjoy a cold beer or nice glass of wine too. Would love to meet someone who is a foodie too so that I don't make you crazy talking about food all the time:) I am a morning person and always keep a smile on my face. I figure if I have a problem it's mine and the rest of the world does not need to be bothered with it.I'll figure it out sooner or later.There is nothing like sitting around a campfire on a chilly night ( love to camp) or hearing the waves crash on the beach in the morning.I moved to GA from CT 21 years ago.I have two pretty cool kids..one in college , one still at home but moving soon. Empty nest time!I am kind of independent and tend to get right to the point when talking about things. I like things a little simpler.You must love animals as I have been known to take in some rescues. Hope to hear from you. Someplace quiet enough to talk and get to know one another.

    Thanks to help from family, I now have a sunroom overlooking the water and a 'woman cave' in the works in the basement. I like baking, sometimes cooking but I'd rather be playing Rock Band and let someone else do the cooking LOL. Ok, I can compromise, so we cook together and then play Rock Band together. This is my new favorite winter hobby ... learning to play an *** vocals. My body can no longer handle the cold weather... brrr. I do like to traveI and would aspire to spend a month or two in a warm climate in the winter. What have you been doing for the past 40, 50, or 60 years?I am retired from the software industry and after a short stint buying and selling antiques, I'm now sticking with buying jewelry wholesale which I sell on eBay and rent space in a local store. This is 'fun' money. I am financially stable and love living a simple lifestyle. I volunteer for 2 non-profits and do whatever I can to help from painting, fiberglassing and sweeping floors to building and updating websites! I am thankful to have the opportunity to meet and talk to new people!I would love to find a man with integrity and intelligence (can't stress that enough - my daughter is a Fulbright Scholar). A man who is positive, loving and wants to have fun, laugh, and finds the silver lining in all situations. Drama and games are not allowed in my life. If we are not a match then we should move on because .... there are plenty of fish ;)I am looking for a longterm, serious relationship but would love to start it out with some casual conversation and get to know each other. No pressure, no expectations. I am always at my best near the ocean, water, outdoors, mountains, etc. Something simple like meet at a pub with an outdoor band... lol. We'll figure it out!

    I just wat to live life ; find happiness where I can and find someone who i can be comfortable with that wants to live life with me someone who is happy with themselves and knows that god is good all the time!
