Here is my start with more to come ... I am happy, honest, and am told vivacious. I smile a lot, I laugh a lot, I almost always have a song that I am singing internally. I will always chose to see the glass half full so have been able to experience many adventures with a great attitude and to laugh at those which have not been so wonderful. I am feminine, intelligent, easy going, adventurous, confident, secure, and very prone to make mistakes (which I will laugh about) :). I believe in "chemistry" but I am aware that a good, solid relationship requires a chemistry that grows and continues over time well beyond the initial spark. That being said, there must be something initially which attracts me to someone and this something is far deeper than a person's physical appearance. I enjoy life and have especially enjoyed being a parent. My children are now grown; one still in college and one just graduated and beginning her "new life". So now, it's my turn :)IMy hobbies are varied from the physical pursuits; cycling, hiking, skiing, crossfit, ( this October I participated and completed the Tough Mudder which was an amazing experience) ... to the arts;;tinker"). I enjoy movies, learning opportunities, spirited discussions, and just time "hanging around". My musical tastes are varied from classic rock, a little country, and the newer sounds. I love to dance so music is in my spirit. I read a variety of genres. Probably one of the most important books I have read and try to live by is The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz (not always easy to put in practice).I am interested in meeting a man who loves life and the challenges it brings, who wants to travel and explore locally, domestically, and internationally, is fit and active and loves the outdoors, is kind and caring and wants to take time to become friends first rather than leaping into a short term relationship based strictly on our physical chemistry (Not that there is anything wrong with that physical lust which we all love ... I just want to develop something in addition to :) )I look pretty good in a nice pair of jeans, dress, hiking boots, high heels, a bikini, an evening dress ... One toe in.. and I’m really not sure yet how I feel about this whole internet dating but am open to the possibilities that it may bring… with that said here is a little about me and who I would like to meet. I have a variety of interest as I’ve noted above as well as enjoy listening to live music of just about any kind especially blues, classic rock & new country would be my favorites. I enjoy being outdoors and going for long walks. Spending time with my son and those people that are special in my life. Spiritual growth, faith and healthy living are important aspects of my life. I’m open, honest and loyal and always try to do the right thing. I’ve noticed most men out there list fishing, hunting and sports as your favorite things to do… So if you’re not looking for a fishing or hunting buddy, I can certainly be content with sitting back, relaxing and reading a book while watching you fish or cheer you on and be your biggest fan while you play your sports. As for sporting events, I may not know all that much about a given sport, plays or the rules but would enjoy attending them with you and you could teach me. I’d say I’m pretty open to trying new things but some of you guys take that literally. So I’m adding the caveat that I’m not going bungee jumping, parasailing or jump out of airplanes, (jury is out on zip lining).. Just sayin! Not that adventurous. Sorry, just not me!. As for hunting... forget about it!!!.. ;)I’m just looking for that special person to share our day by day experiences and enjoy spending time with exploring new things no matter what they may be. I was married for 25 years and have been divorced for 3. I am happy being by myself, but being with someone who I can't get off my mind would be even better.
