I am an enthusiastic, fun-loving person who would like to find a guy with common interests to do things with. I enjoy lots of different activities and like to hike, motorbike, bicycle, fish, swim, boat, snowmobile, ride ATVs, and RV camp. I love sitting around a campfire, telling tales, and star-gazing. I also like to cook, tour museums/antique shops/flea markets, and like to check out anything historical in nature. I enjoy the city sometimes too. For me, a nice evening out is listening to good music, trying a new restaurant, or catching a movie. A theatre event is fun too.My lifestyle is laid back and casual. Nothing is worth stressing over; life is good! Keeping it simple (and comfortable) seems to just be more fun. I like to laugh and be silly and look for the best in people. I like a man who walks on the ";, where dreams are possible...I have a moral outlook and believe in respecting others and having the respect returned. I'm not one for casual encounters. I believe in building a trusting friendship first, then valuing and sustaining it by truly wanting what's best for each other. Supporting each other along life's sometimes messy highway completes the "circle". I value open communication and follow-through in a man. With me....character counts!I believe in possibilities, even at this stage in life! This saying reveals my romantic outlook: "A kiss is a lovely trick designed by nature to stop speech when words become superfluous".:) My favorite first meeting would be to go for a walk or bike-ride together. I am anxious to get to know the area and all it has to offer.

Second time around.... Where do I start,.... After a brief stint on Match, I realized that since my life is already wonderful, I rather be by myself than put up with the masked men I have met. I decided to give it another shot, in hopes that there is a good guy out there... Hopefully I won't be here too long. I am a former New Yorker and get homesick for my city.. I love to cook for others, cooking is my passion. I am a very compassionate person and believe in honesty. I am the go to person when my friends are in need. I help and rationalize situations that I sometimes even amaze myself. I volunteer my time to help others. People who know me say they make a friend for life. Music is my lifeline, I enjoy all types (except country), listening just soothes my soul. I have three children, two live away.. one left. My children are my world; they help me see my life more clearly. I am looking for a gentlemen, I am a hopeless romantic..... I am looking for my last first date.

Finding a soul mate in the ever changing and hectic world we live in is difficult but we must never give up the search for that special moment when we discover success. I would like to think that I am worth that search. Enjoying the many joys life has to offer with that special someone is my goal. Life is very short so getting out there to enjoy dinners, dancing, concerts, getaways, romantic walks, BBQ,s, movies and together fun things is important. I am energetic and fun loving and looking for the same. I want someone that likes to cuddle, hold hands and do things together. My music taste is quite varied. As an ex professional figure skater, music is a part of my life. My commitment and loyalty is unquestionable in a relationship and I expect the same in return. There is little time or patience for game players, for married men or young men looking for fun. Only sincere men 50 to 65 meed reply please and thank you. First dates are vital, exciting and terrifying at the same time. That's when emotions are running wild with anticipation and trepidation. Because disappointment is also a very real possibility, much conversation beforehand is very important. Only after we get to know each other will I venture on a date. That date will then be a stepping stone to better things to come. That dinner date will allow us to look into each other's eyes, hear each other's thoughts in person and enjoy each other's company for the first time. This is when we will know if what we have worked has finally arrived.
