I'm not a fan of writing a profile. Half the fun is how the conversation unfolds! Prefer a telephone conversation over an *** chat, but I've finally decided it's like we're at a friends gathering where he's told me a little about you. If we catch each others eye perhaps we'll start a conversation. Being kind, gentle, caring and optimistic about people and life is key to living happy. Comfortable in most situations, I enjoy a variety of experiences. I love everything about nature, children, and big extended families. Music is usually playing...LOUDLY if I'm alone. Mom raised me to leave every situation better than I found it and I love to learn! My youngest son moved out in September and I retired a 20 year span of after school sports last February. I'll miss that, but I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Although I usually try to have a plan, some of my favorite memories were initiated by spontaneous acts. I love to smile. Doing anything outdoors gives me a rush;) I love a thought provoking quote or read and try to keep up on news and current events. I wake each day happy and it's usually pretty early. I'm independent, honest to a fault, and think communicating prevents drama. While I'm not in the gym every week I still try to stay in shape through my activities. The dog in the picture is not mine. While I am a home owner my job situation is unique and my location is flexible.Integrity, honesty, empathy and compassion is what I look for in others. You know...the golden rule kind of stuff.     i am a single mom, a 19 yo daughter who lives away and a 16 yo son who is with me half the time....i have 3 dogs to keep me company i love to cook which is why i chose foodie as the word that best discribes me...i love watching cooking shows saturday mornings and then replicating one of the recipes that weekend...and i love trying different restaurants....but i could have easily have chosen animal lover, music snob, rockstar, tv junkie, homebody or tree hugger...i have a big loud italian family and we eat, drink wine and laugh pretty much every sunday afternoon...until the fall, then the laughs change to cheers or boos, depending on how the eagles are playing.......not that i live far, but its not the city i love......; they're all wonderful....i love music...all kinds....okay, not really classic rock because we listen to that in work, and really, how many times can you hear stairway to heaven or satisfaction in one week? I will warn you i sing all the time....and i have a terrible voice....singing lessons are on my bucket list.... Since i haven't done this for 20 years, i'm thinking meeting for breakfast or lunch one saturday or sunday would be smart....that way we can have a nice conversation and get to know each other....
