I am very family oriented. I have three daughters whom I consider to be a few of my biggest successes in life as they really are great people. While they are not living at home, I try to spend as much time with them as I can. I am an honest, kind, warm and loving, sensitive, woman. I try to find humor in almost everything. I consider myself a happy person both in my job as well as at home. I get along and play well with others nicely. I spend alot of time outdoors gardening, weeding and taking care of my yard. I treat others with respect and courtesy. Drama is definitely not my thing. I keep a happy, quiet home, although I love entertaining both family and friends. I am looking for that one person to share my life . I want to come home knowing that some good conversation and companionship is waiting for me inside the door. I feel that relationships work when both people are willing to talk about their wants, needs, desires and that if there is something challenging the relationship, that we would be able to discuss it. I am not looking for the "perfect someone" , just someone who likes to get out when the weather is nice and who also likes lounging in the evening as well in front of a good movie. Traveling is one of my passions and I have been to many places both here in the U.S. and abroad. Still hoping to see many more. I would welcome a response from you even is you stop to just say have a nice day. First dates, God how the thought makes me nervous. I don't consider meeting someone for the first time your first date. You first date is hopefully something a little more involved than the first time you met. The first "meeting" could be a number of things but what it shouldn't be is a movie. I mean how well can you get to know someone sitting at a movie where you are not supposed to talk? It should be over coffee (or a soda as I don't drink coffee) or a walk on a pier or a beach, or sitting in a park somewhere where there are other people around.Needless to say, after we have met, first dates can be a whole other story......

I like most of the same things everyone else does..drives in the mountains, walks along the river, flea markets, antique stores, rafting down the Hootch, going to casinos for a weekend of fun, as we all know you don't go there expecting to win, cooking out, sitting around a fire on a summer evening with adult beverages, the stars and good conversation. I am just looking for that forever man. To be my best friend, to make my toes curl with kisses and my heart skip a beat when I see him. Ok..something I didn't think I would have to put in my profile, but I do not date men who have hair as long or longer than mine. Sorry, doesn't mean you aren't a nice person, just a personal preference..also, I don't care for men with the "Duck Dynasty" beards growing on their chins, again, a personal preference.
