I am looking for compatibility first ... someone who enjoys some of the same activities although I love learning new things and would enjoy the experience of participating in your favorite pasttime. Kindness and compassion matter and are certainly characteristics I am looking for. I love to laugh and would like to meet someone who has a great sense of humor and can find the humor in most things. I can also be a bit nerdy at times, I guess, since I love to read and enjoy learning ... I never wanted my college experience to end. If you care about others and can be described as a real sweetheart by your friends, we will probably get along just fine. To me it doesn't really matter what the activity is for a first date. It is more important to have a connection to the person you are with. It could be something as simple as meeting for a cup of coffee, and if the connection is there, you know it. I do enjoy having time to talk and get to know you a bit better.
