I am happy, creative, easygoing, and active and am hoping to find someone who shares some of the same characteristics. I am an artist and am pretty ecclectic when it comes to my interests ... from art, to live music, to theater, to sports, to working in my yard. Some of these I like to participate in and others I just enjoy viewing (I'm not an actor or singer but do enjoy seeing others who can do it well). I am a painter and also teach art to young children. I have always been involved in athletics and still enjoy both watching and participating. I also love the beach and try to go as often as I can make it. I live fairly close and walk on the beach often, although I do enjoy just laying out or playing in the surf. I am looking for compatibility first ... someone who enjoys some of the same activities although I love learning new things and would enjoy the experience of participating in your favorite pasttime. Kindness and compassion matter and are certainly characteristics I am looking for. I love to laugh and would like to meet someone who has a great sense of humor and can find the humor in most things. I can also be a bit nerdy at times, I guess, since I love to read and enjoy learning ... I never wanted my college experience to end. If you care about others and can be described as a real sweetheart by your friends, we will probably get along just fine. To me it doesn't really matter what the activity is for a first date. It is more important to have a connection to the person you are with. It could be something as simple as meeting for a cup of coffee, and if the connection is there, you know it. I do enjoy having time to talk and get to know you a bit better.

I honestly don't know what to put......Trying again... I like all types of music..Watch most any kind of movie except gory. Looking for friends first then see where it goes.
