About Me

I am passionate about everything I do. I am a strong, confident, Woman who knows what I want and what I don't want. So, here are a few things I don't want. Control freaks, argumentative, vulgar or pushy. I love to laugh and make others laugh. A sense of humor is essential. I use off the cuff humor in my day to day life. I am very diverse. I can have a conversation with anyone from any walk of life and feel quite at ease. I treat all people the same, with respect. I will talk to the Hotel Maid, Waiter or Waitress, and my garbage collector and be as genuine with them as I am with my peers and collegues. I am very naturally curious and thirst for knowledge and information. I am an idea person, not the one that waits for directions. I don't make *** life, but am very spontaneous when it comes to breaking out and having fun. If I decide to go somewhere at 5 in the evening, I can be packed and on the road by 5:30.I love the outdoors and being in the nature God created for us. I love being on the water doing just about anything. Music is one of my greatest pleasures. I like just about everything with a few exceptions. I like discovering little out of the way places with live music. I am a huge sports fan. I love NCAA (Rock Chalk Baby) NFL (go chiefs?) and NBA, the Heat and Celtics. I am patriotic, I love this country and those who have fought and died for it. I don't really like to shop, or do alot of girly things. I am very comfortable in jeans or sweats but can transition into a little black dress and heels at a moments notice. I am not high maintenence at all and prefer to do most things for myself. I know how to make my Man feel like a Man and I always show him how much I appreciate him. I will leave notes or a card on your pillow or carseat just to tell you I love you and am thinking about you. I love to plan surprise trips whether that be to the Lake for dineer on Tuesday, or a week on the beach. I will not emasculate you, but with that being said, I expect to be your equal, walking through life next to you, not a step behind you. I do not like being told what to do, and I will give you the same consideration. We both had lives, friends, and interests before we met and I don't expect that, or you to change. I am affectionate, romantic, passionate, loyal, honest, and true to my commitments. I am highly social, so a jealous man cannot be with me. I need you to be very secure in who you are and in yourself. I am not looking for a relationship to define me, I have spent 52 years doing that myself. I like to start out slow and am not looking for *** gratification. I have more respect for myself and you for that. I am very physical. I take care of myself and expect the same from my man. Turnoffs: People who are pretencious, and put possessions before relationships. People who have no Empathy and the natural desire to make a difference, A life with me is fun, exciting, adventurous, romantic, and very passionate. I like happy hour. If it's awkward it is ok to have a drink or appetizer and say goodnight

    I've decided that it is time I started having fun again. My children are grown now, so I can concentrate on myself and Date again. I have Retired and have been enjoying my new adventures. I L.o.v.e to cook. (I am very good at it too!!) I like an honest man...kind and gentle..... Enjoy type A personalities...as I am one. I like keeping things simple and fun; my "world" filled with laughter (though I am not a silly woman) but when it is time to be serious that is alright...I can handle it. I am what many would call, "old school" when it comes to my beliefs and ethics. Simply put, I do the things which are expected to be done in my life and for others (ie: my Family and friends). I can honestly say I am extremely conscientious and dependable. I tell it like it is or how I see it... I will debate with you but not argue. I do not catalog arguments and bring up every little tidbit from the past each and every time there is a conflict...hate that...a lot! Don't you? I like my independence. I am an Adult and expect to be treated as such. I've spent a long time being a responsible and credible lady. And BTW, I would not be blowing up your phone wanting or needing to know where you are and/or what you're doing 80 times a day (like I see others doing). I think that is ridiculous. Why do people do that? So silly to me. Oh, I do love a romantic, well planned out Date. I really enjoy surprises!! Something casual, too begin with, would be fine of course. Better to be relaxed and comfortable, wouldn't you agree? I really love music. Concerts (in a Park) are a wonderful thing! I am insane for the music of the '70's, fyi.
