About Me

I am currently retired, but may go back to work -- but not right now! I worked in the IT industry for 25 years and a law office for about 5 years. I absolutely love being able to do what I want to do on my own schedule. I am of Catholic faith and I attend mass daily and on the weekend. I am involved in several areas of the church. I very much enjoy doing volunteer work and giving back to the community. I have done work with hospice, working directly with the patience, however I am not current doing this actvity. My real passion is working with the elderly. I am healthy of mind and body and try to stay that way thourgh diet and exercise. Family is very important to me and consider myself to be family oriented.-in-laws, and a bunch of nieces and nephews.I love to travel and do have a passport. However, I have not done a lot of traveling. Would definitely like to do more. I love music of all kinds, except Rap. I would love to go to a live Rolling Stones concert. Who would like to take me?I am an independent girl meaning I don't need someone to do everything for me, but do enjoy the company of a good wholesome man. I tend to be a little old fashion and like to take things slow in a relationship. I very much enjoy most any activity with my partner. I have always enjoyed anything around the water. I consider myself to be very honest, dependable, and optimistic. The short comings in life never get me down. I can laugh at screwups and don't have some over inflated ego. To me everyday is a new day with new opportunities and challenges. I have a good bit of energy but not as much as a did when I was 25. I exercise 5 to 6 times a week mostly walking and a few classes and a personal trainer. I know that relationships require patience and compromise to be successful. A good first date would be at a restaurant where we could get to know one another. If all goes well, we can stay for dinner, if not we can go our separate ways.

    A sudden turn of events in my life brought me back home and even though I am happy to be closer to my children and family, I left behind some very special friends and memories!I have a very large family and when we all get together, it can be a little crazy, but I love it!
