I love the ocean , it's my first ,last, and Forever love . I am a Biologist and Scuba diver .. The ocean is the way to my heart.I love to laugh and crack up. I tend to be optimistic and I choose to be happy. I love to explore and have fun. Anything that has to do with enjoying the natural beauty of the outdoors. I love the beach enjoying the sun and riding my beach cruiser. I live to travel, most of my travel has been in the search of SCUBA adventures so the Caribbean and Maui are at the top of my best of lists. I love movies especially sci-fi and fantasy. I am a GEEK, I would be in Heaven at Comic-con. I belong to a philanthropic organization and spend a bit of my time doing charity work and volunteering for several organizations. I love to Cook and entertain. I am a gourmet cook and find my solace in the kitchen, creating and feeding friends and family. Good wine, good food and good friends. I love festivals of any kind; wine, balloon, Reissuance, Fairs, if it is outside, has beer and food on a stick... I'm game! I live in shorts and flip flops or a sundress. However , I certainly like to dress up nice and go out, but not necessarily all of the time. I like to dine out and dance, go to concerts, I spend a lot of time at the theatre. I could roam a good museum for a week, and enjoy history. I am independent and self sufficient , my only requirements are a decent bottle of wine and peanut butter , and SCUBA, and this lamp, and this paddle ball game...I am looking for a Gentleman. A strong man with a kind heart. A Dive buddy, Best Friend, Travel Companion/Playmate, a protector , an intellectual sparing partner, and, Lover. I would hope to find someone with a great sense of adventure and a better sense of humor. Ideally he would share my love of the outdoors and share my passion for activities and fun. I am a High energy person like that little pink bunny, but I can lay quite still almost motionless for extended periods beside the ocean or a pool. I can spend every day near the Ocean. My perfect day would involve an activity near the water, or even better on a boat; Sail boat , power boat, Kayak... all are good! I hope to find a playful person who respects others and has a sense of duty to a cause greater than himself. Manners and intelligence, are virtues that I appreciate. I am a Lady , don't let the casual attitude fool you , I hope to be romanced and appreciated . Respected and cherished , I am more than willing to give back more than I get. I am intensely loyal and expect the same. A good first date would be a meeting for coffee or a happy hour. Someplace that is easy to have a conversation and a good place to people watch or walk around. In a nice public place to discourage the psycho-killers. I'm relatively new to this so I am not accustomed to the in's and outs of the on line dating experience. Let it be said that I am a "nice girl" I am not looking for a one night stand or any meaningless encounters. I am looking for someone to make me laugh and have a good time with.     I am just a woman that leads a pretty quiet life. A lot of changes coming my way, but I am used to that. I try to roll with them now, and let things happen the way they are supposed to....naturally. However, being that I live a pretty quiet life, I am pretty sure that I am not going to meet someone of the opposite sex randomly. So I am giving fate a little nudge and saying "Hey Fate! Help me out here!" by online dating. Yeah, this is pretty much the world in which we live now. I don't want to *** endlessly. I pretty much am willing and able to meet someone for coffee or a glass of wine fairly quickly. Because all the *** the world don't matter if there is simply no chemistry when you meet someone face to face. Finally really LOVE my job. However, I want to lock the office at the end of the day and enter my LIFE. I want the work/life balance. I love to read and take photos, and I write. A lot. I have 3 grown kids that are all out on their own and doing amazing things. I couldn't be prouder of them. I feel that I must have done a few things right to end up with 3 great kids. I live with my dog Bing and she really likes to drag me around and around for walks. I also love to cook but so rarely do it for just myself. It's a shame really that we tend to feel that we aren't worthy of those things. Oops....I mean it's a shame that I do that I mean. I am excited to be a new Eastsider and I am having a lot of fun getting lost and ending up going around in circles. Hm....I think I sense a repeating pattern of behavior. :-) I love to travel, but don't because it's just me. I love to go to movies but I don't because it's just me. I love to go out and listen to music and dance but I don't because it's just me. I love to......yeah....but I don't, because it's just me. So....this is me trying to fix those things. If it happens, great, if it doesn't, well I guess I will still be a generally happy person that has great friends and an amazing family. Whatever works for us both.
