If you've really got something to offer to a woman, then show her you're not lazy and make a good impression - use spellcheck, a dictionary or the library - after all, you're a smart guy, right? It seems lots of creeps on meetville - that is all they are looking for! I grew up with a dad who took me fishing a lot but I am tired of this online fishing! There are so many creepy fish out there! Don't get me wrong, if I am in a one-on-one monogamous relationship, plenty of sex needs to be on the menu. I don't like having sex with mutlple people or sharing my partner! I do know the fish I seek needs to be unique ***of kind maybe? Should be creative, open minded, adventurous, excepting of many different types of human beings (Can you except my Emo-Scene daughter and her boyfriend who wear mostly black and gages in their ears and snake bite/angel bite piercings)? They are good kids - just trying to express themselves. Are you adventurous and fun and a little crazy at times with a serious side as well? As for music, I am pretty wide open with my likes - everything from rock to country to Christian to folk and jazz. Even classical on occassion. Music I listen to depends on my mood. The only kind I don't care for is rap and head banging heavy metal (oh yeah and Opera). I used to write poetry, draw and watercolor paint, but over the years as a single mom, I got too busy to do it. I still write poetry sometimes. As retirement years come around, I hope to get back to those hobbies. In the mean time, I enjoy my flower and vegie gardening in the summer months and cooking in the winter months. I also enjoy taking nature photos when I get a chance. I have to say up front that I am really not attracted to guys with a heavy beard and full facial hair (gotee or mustache is okay - not bushy beards***sorry. I would like to be in a relationship with someone but if it is not right, I would rather be alone. I have been divorced 16 years now. I have raised my daughter on my own and she is almost grown up now - just turned 19. Yeah! Time for me now. I am attracted to taller guys with a somewhat professional side or at least smart - don't need to be in a white collar job. I like a guy who can wear jeans/get dirty - Mr. Fixit type/Outdoors type. I have lots of projects around the house I can't do myself and it is always more fun to do things with someone rather than alone. :( I love nature and being outdoors. I have two cats and a small dog - just letting you know in case you are allergic to them. For those avid sports lovers - I like the social aspect of it all, but not much into just sitting and watching the games.. :( I rarely if ever watch or attend a football (except the Packers) or baseball game and I don't golf.I don't really spend too much time on this meetville site but last year I was sitting at the dining room table on my laptop and searching through profiles on meetville saying YES, NO or MAYBE MEET (I don't bother with this anymore), when suddenly there was a loud thud on the patio door. I looked over and there was a Mourning Dove dazed and confused sitting on the ground staring back at me. In less than a few seconds, a large Red Tail Hawk landed and swooped up the Mourning Dove and flew away. The only trace of this was a scattering of Mourning Dove feathers on top of the snow. I am thinking this is probably a sign from God about this site! LOL I am not really active on here much but I do peek now and then. By the way - guys with NO pic I will not respond to unless you can send pics. Also, I am not into the IM chat thing, so PLEASE send a message. I won't spend too much time writing anything now. I would rather meet in person and see if there is a connection and chemistry. I actually go into a lot of concert venues for work, so I love live music. Read tons of self help, financial, goal achieving books. I love to travel and love any place with water! Anything Cali and ocean is the best. Love the water! Oceans, lakes, beaches. Would love to go boating. I have a pretty flexible self scheduleing job so it can allow me a little flexibility. I could relocate anywhere with my job as well, and would hope to find a wonderful man to settle down with. I would like to experience all the good things I somehow missed out on when younger. Truly finding that one and only first love would be the main thing.I want to feel secure and safe with a man, that he is reliable and dependable and yes, can take care of me. I have taken care of myself and everyone else alone for far too long, so I would love a little TLC and caring for! A real man knows how to care for a lady. I am worth more than that to waste my time on men that do not deserve me. I am looking for a wonderful special soul, the illusive soul mate. Of course I am trying to find someone who is funny, great sense of humor, well adjusted from all life has thrown at them and not a bitter, mean old fuddy duddy. I want to be content with someone but not bored by them. Nice and calm is fine, just not someone that needs a fire lit under them to have an interesting conversation. Have some goals! Dreams! Hobbies! No matter how old you (we) are! You have to have some hobbies, ambition, goals and dreams to offer a woman! Walking, movies,or music, dinner, seeing area attractions, walks on a beach or waterfront, blues festivals, Boat rides. Some outdoor adventures (I'm a wimp.)
