Looking for a kind, easy going, intellegent, interesting, avereage height/weight man who can carry on a conversation and is open to finding a lasting relationship. Someone with similar interests. Chemistry is great but at this point in my life I want someone I can talk to, laugh with and be comfortable with in any situation. I love live music..prefering smaller venues... I like Foreign films, romantic and action movies..and the occasional Zombie movie...one of my favorite all time movies being "Shawn of the Dead." I'm of Norwegian heritage and lived in India as a child. I have one daughter who is a senior in college coming home for holidays and this coming summer.If you only text and cannot or will not talk on the phone or in person we are not a good match.I am only interested in meeting someone that lives within a ***mile radius of the Galleria as I find long distance relationships challenging.I guess I signed up 2 years ago and it does not update?     I am retired Navy girl.....a born and raised country girl at heart, and a proud Mom and Nanna to two kids and a grandbaby. My son recently graduated from high school this past June so my job is pretty much done or so they say. LOL But a Mom, I will always be at heart and my job will never be done in that area. However, it is now getting to be the time to focus on my happiness and start moving on with my life. I have devoted my entire life to my kids and now I am starting to find a lot more time on my hands and I think it is time to fill that void within me. Its great therapeutic treatment and when I am there, I forget everything else. A glass of wine under a sky full of stars is very relaxing and would be even better to have someone to share that wine with. Dating has become so hard at this age of the game. I guess because it has been too long since I've been in this type of atmosphere ***years) and I don't hang out at bars and don't want to be viewed as just a pick up. Living in a small town doesn't leave a lot of options for dating either. But I do believe in happiness and that there is somebody just for me out there in this big ole' world.
