Well, I've been doing this dating thing for a while now and I must say... its sure not like it used to be. Very interesting and a little confusing. A lot of people out there looking for *** or not really looking for anything at all..... hummmmm.... I spend a lot of time at the American River.... in/on or near the water. However, I am a country girl and I do prefer the peace, quiet and wide open spaces far more than the city.. but I am learning to adjust. lolI am very compassionate, loving, thoughtful person that always tries to make sure the people around me are happy. I've raised 3 daughters that are on their own now and have 2 beautiful grand babies that I love spending time with. Personality.. let's see.. fun loving, caring, honest to a fault, dedicated to all things important to me. Values- honesty, family, self sufficiency, happiness, certainty, uncertainty, growth, connection, contribution.Relationship priorities- pretty much all of the above. A relationship is a process, too many people try to jump in without really learning about each other. I think that two people need to be friends first and grow and learn together. I don't believe that any person can "complete" another person. We all have to be happy and "complete" with ourselves otherwise we are not ready to share ourselves with someone else. Love is not automatic, love at 1st sight sounds so romantic, but I don't think its a reality.. how can you possibly love someone that you don't know. Most people "put on" masks when dating, they try to be what they think the other person wants or needs. It takes time for people to become comfortable with each other and show their true self. I have learned that in life... and EVEN MORE so by being on these dating sites... My interest vary greatly.. I'm from a small town and love the country life... horses, cattle, goats, dogs, cats, sheep etc... (always hated fowl though :0).. but I've also learned to be comfortable in the city. I love camping, fishing, hunting, boating, playing pool, drives to the coast, travel.. and the list goes on and on.. I do have things that scare me and will probably never do.. ie. skydiving, scuba diving, bungee jumping.. but its okay if you don't mind doing those things by yourself.. I'll watch.This question seems to come up a lot. The one thing I do believe in is total honesty. If you cant be honest... whats the point. right ? The option choices under marital status do not have "divorce filed, working out the details" .. If it did, I would pick that. The fact is I am still legally married, so I couldn't chose divorced as my status. My divorce is taking longer than normal due to owning a business together, I will change my status to divorced as soon as it is final. There is absolutely no drama going on and no possibility of reconciliation... anything that will give us a chance to chat and get to know each other. If we click, great.... if not.. well, nobody can have too many friends.

How difficult is this....trying to describe yourself in a few printed words. Challenging to say the least! meetville says talk about yourself and what makes you unique....well, I think that's all in the eye of the beholder. What sparks an interest for one person may not for another, hmmmm....guess we will have to discuss that one....I have learned that life often happens by chance, so I am giving this online forum a chance to see what happens. There are some things in life that you just cant "settle for less than the ultimate"...and love is one of those! I believe that the whole package exists! Looking for the one man that enhances me. I guess some may call me a "dreamer", and that's okay, "I believe that dreams DO come true and that the "fairy tale" does exist". That being said, I must add that I'm not in a hurry, I'm taking it day by day and enjoying my life. Life is good, we need to make everyday count! Lets see where life takes us......worse case scenario, we will have a new friend, and you can never have too many friends! Hmmmmm....first date? I really haven't given it much thought but probably depends on where the conversation leads us....
