About Me

I'm easy going and low maintainence---not into drama. We all have a story but I'd rather leave the past where it is and think positive about the future. I like to fish, play soccer, dance, play cards, pitch horseshoes, hit a bucket of balls or make cakes and cookies...just about anything. I love making cakes for my friends but picnic or party foods are my favorite. Camping is okay--in a motorhome. I've traveled out of the country and a lot in the US. Watching sports? Not so much. Playing sports? Yes. I grew up in a neighborhood full of boys so I can dress down or dress up, what ever the occasion. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty so I also paint, wallpaper and do yard work. I like a variety of music, but mostly anything with a good beat that is danceable. Country, blues and rap? Not so much. I work hard and take care of what I have. I'd like to find someone to have fun with, whether it's going out to dinner, backyard barbeque, going to an auction, antique mall or a drive in the country. My family is important to me and we are close. I recently cut my hair short (about 11 or 12 inches) and donated it to Locks of Love but it is growing out again. I like to keep busy but find time to relax with my friends. A positive attitude is important. Life is too short to worry about the small stuff and my glass is always half full. My weakness would be that I'm too honest. Things are either black or white. One of my favorite sayings is "If you keep doing what you've been doing, you'll keep getting what you've gotten". It's time to make a change in my life. What about you? It's up to you. Whatever sounds fun. It's okay to keep things simple.
