Thanks for reading my profile!!This is my 2ND attempt on meetville. I had to delete my first profile because it was hacked into. So here I go again!!I'm a strong, street smart, but at times gullible woman. Most of the time I have a lot of common sense and insight. I can be a bit shy at first but I warm up fast. I consider myself spiritual ,and down to earth.I am not materialistic, but I do enjoy the finer things in life, like lobster tail in brown butter and a night out on the town. But I do NOT need those things to be happy. I can be a bit blunt, telling it like it is. But I'm not unkind and I hate hurting any one's feelings. Unfortunately I do at times because I don't always think before I open my mouth for the sake of trying to be funny. So I must say I have tasted my foot in my mouth more often then I should. I have a sarcastic ,"bust your Ba##s" quick sense of humor. So I need Someone who can take that and give it right back to me. I really need a guy who can be funny and can make me laugh as well as "gets me". Funny not corny!! OR Crude! I am a lady and expect to be treated and spoken to like one. I need to have the initial attraction to someone in order to take the next step to get to know you. I will admit I tend to be picky. If you were to ask me my "type"I would say, Darker hair with a great smile and eyes that I can look into without wanting to look away for some unexplained reason. Confused yet??I'm looking for a honest, true to himself man. Please don't respond if you are a substance abuser or smoke cigarettes, or if you are just looking for casual sex. I have learned that anything worth having in life takes work and compromise.And when you find the right one he or she should be able to bring out the best of you. Love should not make you feel bad about yourself in anyway.I love doing anything outdoors. I enjoy mountain biking,tennis,and anything at the beach, long walks. A night in front of the fireplace with a chilled appletini is a favorite winter night for me. I love classic rock and like going to see any great cover band and being wild for the night!! I am always open to trying new things. I am a hard worker and not afraid to get my hands dirty . But I am also a girly girl, and love to dress up for a night on the town with my man. Wow.......this is the tough part. I am who I am. How's that? Just kidding! I am beginning the second part of my life and I would like to actually enjoy it with someone. I love my kids with all my heart, but have enough of my heart left for one lucky man. :) To spend the day at an event of one of our children or staying home and cooking together seems ideal to me. Dancing in the living room or flirting at the park..........awesome times await us. It's worrisome to think that I may have to go through the best years of my life alone. I am so ready to be a kid again; to love to the fullest. I could say that I am like other women......and at one point in my life I may have had a common trait or two. However, I pride myself on being who I am..........kind, somewhat quiet and shy at first, funny (sarcastic at times), affectionate, low-maintenance, high drive for adventure..........Yes, I am separated. Some of you know what a long drawn out process it can be. However, my life is not at a stand-still. :-) I think that is up to us!

A nice walk through the woods, a leisurely stroll along the beach, long drives with no destination in mind, enjoying the journey and stopping when something catches my attention. I can spend hours browsing through antique stores wondering about the history behind things. I also like flea markets and yard sales. I try to attend several country fairs, bazaars, carnivals and town celebrations, esp when there is homemade food! I enjoy cooking and seek a man who also knows his way around the kitchen--so much fun to cook together then sit down and savor our accomplishment!I like to take an occasional trip to the casino although gambling is not a problem--I only take with me what I can afford to donate!!! I also enjoy traveling. The carribean is also a favorite destination--love those tranquil blue waters and the feel of warm sand between my toes! I enjoy cruises also and I look forward to taking an Alaskan cruise someday.I love surprises, last minute plans, and spontaneity! I am old fashioned to a certain degree and still appreciate having doors opened for me, chairs pulled out, and help with my coat. I work in a heathcare setting and have to work every other weekend and some off shifts so someone who has time available through the week would be a bonus. My children are grown and on their own so I prefer someone in a similar situation. Grandkids are great!! It's time to go out and enjoy life! I have an upbeat, positive outlook and almost always have a smile on my face. I love a good sense of humor and enjoy joking around but yet know when I need to be serious. If you are a grump or feel the world has done you wrong or find life to be a chore or boring, or you have no reason to smile, please pass me by!I am not a big fan of watching much tv but do enjoy a good movie. I like playing cards and board games and enjoy an evening of bingo with friends. I don't like going to bars or nightclubs but do like a comedy club. I enjoy a glass of wine occasionally but not much of a drinker and am looking for the same.So....what's next.....send me a message!
