About Me

I do. Maybe we have more in common. I have three adult daughters. Two are married. I have two granddaughters, a bonus grandson and one on the way. Being a grandma or in my case a yaya is the next best thing to being a mom. I own my own home and have become pretty handy. On most days I like all the jobs and responsibilities that go along with home ownership. I currently work for the state and look forward to retirement.....someday. I am relatively independent...mostly out of necessity. I love the holidays, family get togethers and entertaining. I also enjoy being alone and spending time with that special someone cuddling at home with a glass of wine and watching a movie. I like wine tours, garage sales, walking, hiking and camping. If given the choice, I prefer a camper or cabin. What's better than sitting around a camp fire? I like to visit the casino and make a small donation. Never Win. I like dancing, laughing and having fun. I am open to trying just about anything once. That's half the fun, experiencing each others interests. I've done some traveling, and would love to do more in the future. I am not ready to rush into anything, a casual meeting over coffee or drinks would be a great place to start.
