I love to dance, run, rollerblade and ski and don't do any of those things as often as I would like. I still enjoy going for it. I love to read, by the fire in the winter or, in the hammock in the summer. I am a great cook, prefer wine over beer, hot over cold and I take milk in my coffee. There is nothing better than sharing the preparation of a fine meal with a bottle of dry, red and plenty of snuggle time to follow. If you don't cook or handle the kitchen well there is always something to do to get your hands dirty.     First off, I am a happy person, happiness is wanting what you have, not having what you want and my life is good. I am looking for a partner, someone to meet me halfway, don't need anyone to take care of me or hold my hand, I raised 2 boys by myself and they are all grown up now, I own my own home, and am independent, I love most sports, classic muscle cars , dogs, kids, movies, reading, dancing and listening to music, among other things and I am always open to new interests and new experiences. I might love sports and cars but I am still a girly girl who loves to go shopping and get my nails done. I am very easy to get along with - no drama please. I truly believe if things are meant to be then they will be, but I have to be available for that to happen and that is what I am doing now.     I have had the most charmed life! I LOVE being a nurse and interacting with patients daily...well most of them anyway, to be honest! And, I LOVE being a mother to my 3 children;all grown up now and I am able to enjoy them on another level!Comedy and Improv is an area I am "studying"...for real!!! Took a class last fall...it was AWESOME and I met some "interesting" people. Improv ***starts this Spring. In the meantime, I really enjoy comedies, old and newer, movies and tv. There is too much drama in real life, so I don't consider that entertainment. So..my goal is to investigate and experience as much of the area as I can! Theater, Music (did get to see Trans Siberian Orchestra ...not native to Bham...but fun!), oh, and microbreweries :)!! And, everyone enjoys the relatively short drive to the beach and the mountains...what a gift to live here! And I have a special dream of taking dancing lessons...is that weird?I am fortunate to live across the street from a wonderful park and my subdivision backs up to a state park. I walk regularly and will start riding my bike again after I get it tuned up! Just the same, I am trying to "get my house in order", because I would really like to sell and get a condo or loft downtown! I love the idea of going to an intimate bar/restaurant with craft beers and/or good Margaritas...Spicy foods (Mexican or Thai?), then on to a funny or interesting movie or theater (as heavy as Les Miserable is, I would love to see it at the movies). Let's have a drink after and spend some time holding hands followed possibly by some serious face time :)!
