I don't care that you're not a vegetarian, but I do care if you're a jerk about it ("Mmmm, this steak is soooo good, wouldn't you like a bite? No, that's right, YOU CAN'T.") I feel sad that I have to mention that.I'm not actively looking for the next love of my life, and yet maybe I am. I don't know, I don't think that it's right to put too much weight on online things like this or else someone gets disappointed. I'm looking for someone to call me pretty sometimes, someone who will be the big spoon while we watch movies on the couch, and someone who will hold my hand while he's driving. Just little things, which I think might matter more to me at this stage in my life than grandiose things.I aspire to be a writer, so it matters that you have okay grammar when you talk to me. I'm not a snobby person, but I do have standards.I love to watch TV and read. Seriously, I know that most people like to pick one or the other. I know that because I read a book a day (not exaggerating) that I'm supposed to look at a television set with disdain and say "Hmph, I remember when I used to watch TV." No, I actually really like watching TV too. I'm obsessed with most television shows, honestly. I might have a problem.So, I don't know, I'm not really good at talking about myself. I guess if you like a girl with an okay sense of humor, are not too oblivious to detect sarcasm from someone who is really (really, really) good at being sarcastic, and if you're willing to like, bring me lunch to work if I forget to bring mine, then message me.     I'm in a PhD program at MSU and that takes up most of my time. So honestly even if I am interested it may take a week or two to find a day when I'm not busy. About myself: Sometimes I'm too honest. My dogs generally take priority, its going to take a pretty special person to share that affection. I rarely wear makeup or dress to impress, I dress for comfort mostly. I'm definitely low maintenance.What I'm looking for: Someone honest, trustworthy, and supportive. Attraction is important to me so I do understand that not a lot of the guys I find attractive reciprocate. That's ok with me, I would rather wait and find someone I can't keep my hands off, than fake it just because you are a nice guy. It definitely has to be the total package though, because attraction isn't the only thing I'm looking for. I would like to have some common interests with you, so we have something to talk about and share. It would be nice if you weren't overly forward - it will be pretty obvious if I'm interested so don't push too hard. Ideally, someone that doesn't drink, or doesn't drink much would be fan-freaking-tastic, but I know that isn't really realistic for people around my age. No smoking or kids either. Tattoos are fine by me :) Something fun would be the best first date, after the initial awkward meeting. Go carts, mini golf, going to a park or lake, bonfire with s'mores(!!!)..stuff like that :)Honestly I'm not that picky, getting to the meeting stage is terrifying enough. I don't need any extra pressure on the situation.
