About Me

I have yet to find someone that enjoys things like I do but also enjoys their own space. Off roading is a blast but my vehicles not meant for it. I love LOVE country music and never thought I would. Dancing is a given I think for almost any girl. For sports, I'll play just about anything even if I don't know how or am awful at it. Watching is a different story. I will always consider myself a m***hole so of course bruins, pats, sox, and Celtics are a must but I'd most likely watch bruins over any sport or team.I was single for a year or so and thought I finally found someone then it backfired so I'm gonna try the online thing again. I think I'm pretty laid back and easy to get along with. Sarcasm and being able to make me laugh is a definite turn on. Although I think everyone has a limit with how much they can take or dish out.I used to think about the past a lot and how things could be different. I truly believe in my heart now that everything happens for a reason even if we don't know what it is yet. I used to have a life plan but have pretty much thrown it out and now just have a sketch of what I'd like to happen sometime in the future.A lot of my friends say I'm a home body now which recently has been true but mostly because of my work schedule. Its really hard to go out for drinks with friends if I'm working when they're out and when I can go out everyone's working or sleeping. I really can't think of much else to say at the moment but maybe I'll add more later :)What I'm not looking for.....I am highly allergic to lobster. So if anyone is a lobsterman I'm sorry but it wont work. I wont ask someone to change their profession for me... If you have kids, I'm sure they're great but I don't want to be a step-mom right now or have baby momma drama so I am not interested. The reason why I'm saying this is because I've tried before and I don't want jealousy issues from the ex or end up being mommy for not just the kid but the person I was seeing as well it felt like. That may sound bad/harsh but I am an honest person and sometimes the truth hurts! Also, I am not looking for one night stands, or hook ups. I am not the kind of girl to open her legs to anyone. Keep that in mind if you're reading this or want to get to know me because I am tired of getting spam mail from people when that is all they are interested in. BTW I wont contact you or respond to your messages if you don't have a picture posted. Ok well first dates are tough because for one it depends on what season it is.Summer - going to the beach or night out and being able to see the stars or dancingFall - crisp walk somewhere, maybe a bite to eat...who knows maybe wrestle in a pile of leaves! Winter - somewhere inside where its warm. (I don't like the cold) hot chocolate maybe a game of pool or something. And MAYBE a snowball fight if its going well and I'd sacrifice being cold for a bit ;)Spring - hard to say. Not quite warm and not quite freezing. I'd probably be up for almost anything!

I'm a college girl with BIG dreams. Looking for someone to share my time with. I'm an aspiring nurse that wants to help children and people with disabilities. Pretty stereotypical lol. A nice dinner, nowhere fancy. Maybe a cute movie at either the theater or at one of our places so we can talk and get to know each other!

Laughing is my favorite thing in the world. I think the key to my smile has to be one of the keys to my heart. I value integrity, humor, and compassion. I see mistakes as lessons and I prefer to live in the present rather than dwell on the past. My age hardly indicates where I am at in life. I have learned a lot and lived a lot in my short 23 years here on earth... enough to know that I have much more to learn and to live. I am looking for someone who looks at life similarly... a road trip of sorts. I am trying to avoid writing a glaringly cliche statement like -- "It's the journey, not the destination" -- but sometimes a cliche cuts right through the alternative poetic bull sh*tthat I've been trying to type for a few minutes already. I love the journey. I look forward to what's next. There are so many ways to take to get to the same spot ... whether that spot be marriage and kids or a career or a vacation you have set your sights on for years or even signing up for a dating site. I appreciate all the roads a person must take and am looking for someone who wants to be part of that next stretch in my life. RIght now I am nannying for a great family and working on getting a couple short pieces published. And I just started writing a book. I spend my free time with my family and friends ... those relationships are very important to me and I hope are equally important to you. Swimming, sailing, reading, writing, painting, beach combing, movies, Italian and Mexican food, getting dressed up, going out, staying in, stove-top popcorn, home-made anything, flannel pj's and camping, music turned up loud, ... these are a few of my favorite things. I graduated last year with my BA in English (emphasis in creative writing), as well as a minor in psychology. Writing is my passion (although writing a mini-biography about myself is not ;) ). I know that grad school is probably next ... In the future I hope to become a therapist and work with adolescents. I have a passion for helping people and know that doing so must be part of the career I choose. I am no saint. LIfe has been a mixture of messy and beautiful and I am content right now with where I'm at in life and with who I am. I don't NEED a relationship. I'm looking for someone to compliment my life... not complete it. That being said.. Yes, I do want to have a relationship. Yes, I hope to someday get married and have children. But at the moment, I am looking for someone with shared interests to spend time with and laugh with. Could that be you? If you appreciate sarcasm, a liberal political point of view, a good listener, and someone who is up for trying new things... I look forward to touching base with you.*Please note: I am not interested in any one-night stands so if that is your goal go ahead and click "next." Thanks ;) I know, I know. It's almost lame. But going out for coffee would be my idea of a good first date. Here's why: Going to a movie doesn't offer a lot of time to get to know each other and going out to dinner and doing something planned could be rough if we meet and don't really click. Going out for coffee is low commitment and can easily lead to a longer date of going out to dinner, to another activity, etc. Second dates and beyond I would like to do something fun. Weather permitting... something active and out doors. For example: kayaking, zip-lining, bringing take- Weather not permitting or for a lazier kind of day... I'm not very picky as to what we choose to do as long as its with good company.

Some of the principles I live by: Don\'t worry be happy Be true to thine own self, Put yourself in their shoes, Do not do unto others what you would not want them do unto you. I choose people of word, reasonable, loyal to selves first of all.
