Hiya. I think I'm your "normal" guy - if it's possible, I'm at least close. I am ambitious, professional, and definitely not a sheep! I do migrate towards creative types...and am creative myself (artist) and fairly handy to boot! ... whether making and/or fixing something. Okay, on occasion I over-fix something to the point of where it might stop working. But it's all a far cry from my daily desk job. I'm generally positive and outgoing with the right ... conspirators! I've got a quick wit, great sense of humor and fairly sarcastic. Okay, very sarcastic.(I have all my own teeth too!) I can stay in, go out, people watch or catch the latest movie. If you find me staying in to watch some sports game on TV, I'm there for the food and company ... but don't really keep up with who is playing.I'm good for hiking, art shows, theater, concerts - I'm game! Music-wise I'm more into classic or alternative rock. But I appreciate a little of everything ... except maybe death metal and gangster rap! I love exploring new places and people watching is always a blast. And if it's nice out I'll even go running.And if I had the time I might start going through one of the many books that cover my shelves - floor to ceiling. I do live inside the perimeter (ITP). Maybe something you've read here is the start of finding someone to make a connection with. It's all about chemistry and spark! ***I have the heart of a small boy...and I keep it in a jar on my desk!

Can you still open your heart for a relationship? I'm looking to change directions, and to find someone to walk the path with. I am not here to date around endlessly, but to find someone to really connect with. I am a complex mixture of razor-sharp intelligence combined with pitiful naivete. Works efficiently (some people mistake it for 'hard'), so I can be lazy. Generally laid-back, but occasionally stubborn/temperamental, just to keep you on your toes. Decent vocabulary, but big pottymouth (yes, I can restrain it around your mom). Won't use spellcheck. Enjoys athletic endeavors, but paradoxically, not team sports - therefore I will still talk to you during football season, LOL. Likes science and reading.....and the UFC. Go figure. Books -*t and Philosophy, The Giving Tree, The InfernoMostly I read magazines, and occasionally comic books. My attention span is pretty sho......hey! What that over there?Movies - SciFi and action, although I can fidget through the occasional whiny chick-flick.Music - I play drums! Jazz and rock are my main things. I also listen to mostly anything but rap and country.** I do like bluegrass, but not country pop.Food - If you take me to Cheesecake Factory, you'll have me at "hello".I prize honesty, communication and togetherness. I am looking for a patient, low maintenance, non-smoking soul who loves dogs and cats - please note that my pets and I are a package deal. Fairly liberal in politics, so Republicans may wish to look elsewhere. I do appreciate spontaneity, yet I am a creature of habit. Change for the better is all good, though. I am a sucker for redemption.
