I’m not a fan of cop shows or sitcoms like Big Bang Theory. I don’t like violence and I don’t like making jokes at other peoples expense. My all-time favorite tv shows are Doctor Who and Community. I'm a big fan of music. I'll listen to most anything except for country music and contemporary Christian music. I'm not a fan of either. I can't put into words how much I loathe those two genres. Even though I don't like ccm music, I do love worship music but I'm kinda picky about that too. I don't have any favorite artist or bands but I do have favorite genres. I love classical, jazz, blues, and indie pop/rock. I also really love music from the 90's/early 00's AND music from musicals/animated films.I’m looking for short term/long term dating and possibly marriage (but that's wayyyy down the road). I don't want to put that pressure on myself or the other person to make things more serious than it actually is. I truly believe if you like someone and care for someone enough the relationship will naturally progress to something more serious. I'm also not willing to be with someone just so I have a boyfriend. I'm content with being single and being with myself. I have value without a man and I can have a fulfilling life without one. Life doesn't start when you meet your "soul-mate", it continues on. Or to give me forehead kisses. *swoon*Ooh, one thing. I especially love me some Irish/British/Canadian boys. Hello!So about me... I'm originally from a small town and love being in the city. Right now I'm just settling back into life in the city and still trying to figure it all out, ya know?I love to travel and experience new cultures. So far I've backpacked around Europe for a total of just over 7 months (4 months the first time, 3.5 the second) and can't wait to explore another continent (South America is next on my list -- as well as brushing up on my very beginner spanish skills!) I'm an outgoing person and love going out and doing new things. I love going out for a few drinks with friends, going for brunch, or just BBQing and having beers in a backyard. I enjoy snowboarding and playing hockey when I get the chance. I'm into photography, definitely no expert though, just learning as I go. I also like to read and one of my favourite authors is Chuck Palahniuk. I also really enjoy reading and re-reading 'Vagabonding' , a book by Rolf Potts. My favourite shows include New Girl, Sons of Anarchy, Game of Thrones...
