About Me

I am a full time student pursuing a degree in vocal performance, focusing mainly in opera. I am a classically trained singer but that doesn't mean I am a music snob. ;-) I listen to a variety of music, one of my favorites being rock. For warning I am a very sarcastic person and I crack jokes a lot. I can be shy at times, especially in situations where I dont know people. However, I am mature and a responsible, professional person. All of my friends tell me that I am a good listener and give good advice, so I feel like I have a pretty good head on my shoulders. I definitely have a servants heart, and I love to help people with whatever they may be dealing with.In my spare time, which I have little of,I love spending time with my friends... I am not a homebody by any means, but I do enjoy a night relaxing at home curled up watching a movie. I am not high maintenance, and enjoy the little things in life. Im not just a city girl or just a country girl. I have both in me. On a saturday afternoon I could be out getting dirty in a pair of torn up jeans, and the same night get dressed up to go to the Embassy. I will be graduating in a year and a half, and possibly pursuing a masters degree at a grad school I have not discovered yet.I love my family and friends and could not be the person I am today without their constant support and love . Anyone who is willing to spend time with me must be willing to spend time with my friends and family. I like to work out and have been trying to lose weight my entire life. I have been fortunate enough to find a gym I love and have been losing weight since I joined there. I plan to lose as much as I can, so someone who is understanding about weight loss and will not judge me or my friends and family about their weight is extremely important. I should also state that I do not go to church but im not against people who do go to church. Religion is hard to talk about seeing that everyone has made their own definition of it. In my eyes I'm not religious , but I have faith. I believe in God, I have been baptized, and I do read the Bible. :-) I just have been to too many churches with too many "Good Christians" to really want to run to the next church service to worship my God. I would rather worship him outside, in the nature that he created himself, not a man made structure with rules. My profile says I dont want anything serious, but if we meet and things end up being serious down the road Im okay with that. :-) Talking and getting to know each other over a glass or two of red wine is perfectly acceptable. Dinner can be included but not necessary. I also enjoy a good cup of coffee. Starbucks is over rated, however I have been known to get a peppermint mocha from there. :-) I dont really like going to the movies on the first date because you can't really get to know someone who is sitting next to you in the dark. Taking a walk, having a picnic, anything romantic is always a plus, but something where we can be ourselves is best. Depending on the weather I like going to baseball games and enjoy sports.

    I'm a genuine girl from a small town and although I like to visit big cities I will always be a small town girl at heart. I can be very shy but once I get comfortable I open up.
