I am a retired Wildland Firefighter, and now drive tour busses and trucks for a living so im not home as much as i would like to be but thats life i guess. As far as music goes i mainly listen to country and bluegrass with some old time rock and roll thrown in there, on a slow day you might find me listening to celtic pipes and fiddles. hummm what makes me Unique? Well i would have to say that i am the type of guy that devotes my free time to being with the lady of my life, im not the jelouse kind of man, or even very stressed, most things just kind of roll off my back, unless im lied to, that hurts worse then just about anything i can think of. and is hard for me to forgive, when i tell someone I will do something i do it, and expect the same of those people that are around me. I have had a few *** my life where people havent kept thier word, and it does tend to not only hurt but drive a wedge in what could be a awsome relationship. so that is one thing i would like to stay away from.

i enjoy a good family BBQ or hanging out around a campfire. im basicly laid back but do have a little ornery side that likes to tease , harmlessly ofcourse. I like the fleamarkets and yardsales in the summer or some cool antique shop for some long lost treasures lol. I have most weekends off and would enjoy haveing that special someone to spend them with. someone kind considerate witty and happy. Iam open to most music as i fool around with the guitar some myself and appriciate some good guitar licks. I enjoy going out for a nice dinner and conversation. I went wine tasteing last year and thought that was preety cool.

I have 2 lovely grown daughters that I raised and 1 lovely granddaughter. Family is very important to me and we get togrther often and music almost always happens if you've seen pics. Just bought a house in St Augustine which is awesome. I have a serious side at work and a goofy side most of the other time. Be honest with me I dislike BS. I enjoy teaching. I love playing to and creating and performing songs. I love the blues. I am trying to decide which way to take my career, there are several opportunities. I am trying to decide if I want to move into educational administration or teach college and I am still trying to figure which way to go. Maybe you could help!.......:) I think a weekend afternoon deal for people that have not met would be best. You get an opportunity to meet in a non threatening environment as opposed to a formal meal, dinner, lunch or whatever else. Live music, one or 2 guys playing music, not a big band, but where you can talk and visit and decide how you get along. After that if things seem to go well it might be best to exchange contact information and have a more formal or informal date depending on what impressions you and the other person have made on each other.
