I love life and all that it offers. Beach, mountains, music and good friends. Outdoors fun, golf, camping, good conversation. I am a regular guy, and am very OK with who I am. Now, how about you? I find it funny that so many people are on here, and it seems as if forever. Are we that picky as we age, do we close doors without looking through the outside first. I cannot guess other folks thoughts, but I did think "dating site" was actually about dates or getting to know another. If we were all blind, how would we judge another, if we could not speak, how could we communicate? Doesn't it make you wonder? So what if a person is not " beautiful externally", beauty fads, and then what? So what if a person is not "rich" when you're dead you can't spend it anyway. Wake up, dreamers dream, doers do, life is not endless time, it has a beginning, middle and an end. What if, we actually lived it? Fun. coffee, dinner or a simple walk in the park.

I think I would be considerer a unique person. I have been self employed most of my adult life therefore it seems I aproach things a little different. that is not a bad thing. to be the same and do the same is a little boring.I like most toys with engines, Motorcycles, 4 wheelers, snowmachines, etc. (I know, typical boy) I lean towards motorcycles a little more than the others. I have a few of them. Harleys of course. my favorite thing is to go on long road trips. I have done it several times to several states. it is a blast. just 2 people, man and woman, is very fun. also a group of people can be a blast.Ultimatly I would like to be maried again some day, just not this day. I was happily maried for over 20 years and liked the feeling of being married. Kinda cant wait to find that lucky woman who can call me hers for the rest of our lives. Somewhere peaceful & relaxing. A place where we can have a good conversation and get to know each other. If all seems to go well, then go somewhere a little more exciting.

For too many years, I fell into the trap of defining myself by the work I do. "I'm a writer", I'd say. "It's what I do. I've never had another job." While true, I think I'm much more well-rounded person now. Balance is what it's all about.I work out of the house and sometimes work out of the house, like at Spanish Banks West with my dog. Now, I'm not saying I'm a handyman or anything, but I won't back down from a challenge. I'll do some electrical, mechanical, plumbing if I have to, and painting. Aaaaaahhh, painting. A while ago I was challenged by a plastic cap on an aerosol can of spray paint. The closest tool in the garage was a hatchet. So, I swung the hatchet at the cap, hoping to knock it off. ***, I dealt the can a glancing blow and put a Titanical gash in it. The paint inside, sensing it was free, escaped and clung to the nearest object, which was my face. I must have looked funny blindly staggering out of the garage, glasses blackened out, head looking like a bowling ball with blackened teeth. Yes, I was smiling at the time of the incident.Smiling because, all calamities aside, I'm a happy guy. I play guitar badly and sing joyously and with no embarrassment or shame whatsoever. I've been known to bake a killer pie. Good thing I love keeping in shape, with strength training and my most recent obsession, Spinning, otherwise known as indoor cycling, which I do 6 times a week. I'd recommend it for anyone looking to enhance their cardio routine, have a ton of fun and get a killer workout! I've just obtained my Spinning *** certification but I haven't started teaching yet. And, oh yeah. I just bought a VW camper van, so plan to go for a lot of road trips next spring and summer.I shave my head. I love laying out in the sun. I donate blood every two months. I love giving back and doing volunteer service work, because for me gratitude is an action.
