Welcome to the little box where I'm supposed to sum up my personality to make myself sound interesting enough that someone out there would want to meet me. This is always the part I hate, talking about myself and trying to "sell" myself. But I suppose there isn't any way around it. I'm 33 years old and work full time as a veterinary technician. I am pursuing many different goals at the moment and I consider myself to be a very ambitious person. I am looking for someone who is also ambitious and goal oriented. In my free time, what little of it I actually get, I love to travel, go to the movies, try new restaurants, read and pursue new hobbies.I have a bit of a dry/sarcastic sense of humor and I would love to find someone who can make me laugh. I am a bit old school in who I am looking for, in that I want someone to be my best friend, someone who is intelligent/educated, wants a family one day and is someone who places value in making a relationship work. With all of that said, I realize this could be a tall order and some say I'm too picky but I'm not someone who is willing to settle. I would love to think my someone special is out there and I'm willing to take my time to find him and just have fun in the meantime :) I would love to get into something new and different for a first date. I really appreciate someone who is creative and thinks outside the box.

I am healthy-- I eat well, take care of my body, and am hygienic. Also, I am a practicing Christian. I am looking for that as well. I think we all have weird quirks and one of mine is that my nose is the first thing that lets me know if I will like a person, especially males. I mean, I must have a bionic nose because I can smell people's natural scent fairly strongly. The normal stuff about me: I like being active, using my hands, as well as my mind. To caveat on my attributes, I would like to point out that I am not for the faint of heart and that I am firey; which means I can be a go-getter, verbally expressive, and willing to take a stand for myself should I feel the need. I have myself together and expect the same in my mate. I truly want friends first. And that means the kind with out benefits in case a few might be a little confused as to what kind of friends I am referring to.Let's exchange some witty banter and go from there. A walk...perhaps have a cup of coffee over conversation...a hike in the woods.....or some friendly competition at a game of soccer. Anything outside is a great start.
